lol, you don't have the option. It's in addition to the primary/secondary roles you pick

RIOT has simple choice:

no more role queue. get along with your team mates like you used to and stop playing mid / top.
wait forever to start a game. everybody gets frustrated and annoyed. This affects me too because when you wait forever your "search boundaries" extend to include me and then I get annoyed because of bad team mates, bad opponents and junk game.
you play support once every while.
