Cassiopeia pushed to her old state .

sustain reduced , movement speed scaling pushed more into late game ( nerfed a few months ago ) , now mana costs nerfed . Cassio is going to her old state because she is pushed to late game champ identity at the cost of her laning phase ( again ) . Riot gave her a scaling passive just like before , her old passive had her ratios nerfed bc it scaled very well after 1 hour of farm . The current passive restrict her from accessing tankiness item 3047 item 3111 , tenacity item 3111 item 3009 , those are situational but very appreciated from middle ranged mages . Most importantly ** it restrict her early power spike** item 3020 ( with item 3136 ) , cassio was already very sensible to ganks before and the low movement speed in early doesn't help . In early game she is Nasus tier , she is condemned to stack mana to not fall oom and to hope she has the time to scale enough to do something . The difference is that Nasus will be able to tank and one shot anything while Cassiopeia will need peel , good position , and front line to protect her from getting os .

I understand that you want to nerf cassio's harass in early , but could we please have a look at her ultimate ? Cassio's ulti has the exact same ratios than sona's ulti , while it is a situational stun for cassio and a guaranteed stun for sona . Also when she was reworked her ulti's slow was nerfed , completely fine . In my opinion the ulti is not worth a buff .

With what i stated before , i wish that she could at least have her miasma's poison to last 1 second after people step away from it ; let the grounded effect for the zone , but let the poison 'dmg and slow apply at least one second after they step away from it . this ability already has a restricted range so i dont think that little compensation will make case any oppressive .

If you find that change to be too hard to apply , can we just have a better mouvement speed scaling with the passive please since we can't get any tenacity or early magic pen . ( just buy item 3136 ? no , cass needs mana and cdr early , and item 3136 is only good with item 3020 because it snowball the magic pen and give you "true" dmg on target with no magic resit )

Cass is and will never be as bad her "old state."

That aside, she's perfectly fine where she is, can we not randomly buff mages into permaban status please? I'm tired of seeing this Board flooded with "insert generic mage bash thread here."

I think Cass is quite good right now. 10 more mana on maxed E barely has any impact since you're more than likely to get item 3165 item 3027 and item 3003 . Shouldn't be an issue in lane since you just last hit with E until you get Tear anyways.

I play cassopedia. Her weakness is ganks, but in a 1v1 lane phase she dominates early game. The only champions she can’t beat lane phase are long range poke mages, or one shot assassins.

She is no where near Nasus tier early game. She has a 49% winrate (justified by her skill cap), and a good play rate (3%-4%)

Eh, I think this will be fine. Other AP Carries are also getting nerfed on the PBE (Ori, Syndra, Taliyah, LeBlanc). Cassiopeia was just a step below God Tier, so she just would've gotten nerfed the patch after this one anyway.

Additionally, the nerf itself is minimal. +10 mana on E at all ranks? Sucks early game, but Cassiopeia's early game is already weak. After Tear and Catalyst I doubt the nerf will be noticeable.

I want Miasma(W) to be reverted back to its old state. This one doesn't help me when I face assassins and other high damage dealers that jump on me. Also, I don't like her passive. It wasn't that much better than her old one. Something that could combo well with her poison theme is to have her gain 1% magic damage or 1% magic penetration per second that someone is afflicted with her poison. I also liked someone else's suggestion that her Twin Fangs (E) could also increase the movement speed buff that she got from Noxious Blast (Q). I suggested something similar before. Also, all her spells eat a lot of mana, and she almost always needs at least two mana items to keep up her damage.

I don't believe that people who complain about her mechanics have really played her and understand how she is meant to be played.

Whatever lead Cass gets, all it takes is the enemy tank to buy item 3194 and she's done.

Her ult sucks, that's all. By mid game, she's just a second-rate ADC. Change that lame ult to something like Twitch's poison setup. "For the next 4/6/8 seconds, Cassiopeia's Twin Fangs also poisons it's target and hits all enemies in range who are currently poisoned by Cassiopeia.

Then miasma doen't look so bad either, eh?

But, honeslty -- Cass has always been, and continues to be, a noob-eater.
