Offensive runes give a lot of gold value, and offensive items constant get shoved full of more stats every season.
Defensive runes hardly exist, activate later where they do, and defensive items start weaker and nerfed every season.

Zoe's easy to destroy. She just also occasionally has a decent assassination. She's FAR from one of the worst offenders.
