How to build Tank Yasuo?

It seems like everytime I play yasuo I get bursted down in 2 seconds and I can't react to it because it is an absolute chaos in the middle of a teamfight. Early game I'm fine because I play passive and when mid game hits I start to feed like crazy. I build Talon squishy but I never seem to die that much compared to Yasuo. It's annoying me how I can go 3-0 early game and become 5-8 in the mid game since I get countered by all sorts of CC. I still play him because I find him tons of fun and I want to master him.

With that being said, anyone have good tanky builds to suggest?

you can't really build him tanky and super effective. his core build is super expensive (IE Shiv LW) so getting good tank stats on him not only gimps your damage when you need it it also means you won't be particularly tanky due to how low your base stats are. you're better off still building him damage (maybe a randuins or GA after you finish your core build) and learning his teamfight better

basically you need to either charge your Q on the front line before diving in on the backline with your knockup, or you need your allies to knock them up for you, you can use your windwall to separate their backline from their front so they don't obliterate you while you're charging your Q.

his team fight is hard, but that's usually the way i handle it, you have the tools to outplay your opponent, if you use them you won't need to be tanky

two things. One, maybe practice yasuo a bit more. Watch some of faker or dade yasuo. (this is from experience) Yasuo is a champion where if you are good at him and play him correctly, you will do good. But if you are simply average at him, you're gonna die in 2 seconds. You need reaction speed and proper judgement and understanding of his kit. That's all I'm gonna say. Two, for tank yas you build in these orders, depending on how you are doing. item 3087 first. Always. No exceptions. Second, build either item 3143 or item 3102, depending on your opponent(s). then, you build item 3031. That is your core. you can pick up some boots, either item 3111 item 3047 usually, and you also will probably want item 3026. Also, if you are ahead you can build item 3153 or item 3072. I would suggest bork, since tank yasuo will be top lane. Once you have the core items, your build path is extremely flexible. Build what you think will be best for the situation.

Rush Shiv, build sheen, grab cloak of agility. By now lane should be over. Grab boots (shouldn't have them yet). Depending on cc/ad build merc or tabi. Grab alac, not homeguards.

Roaming now: item 3087 item 3057 item 1018 ( item 3264 /item 3269 ) You should be quick, doing picks, no teamfighting yet. As you get picks, put the money towards your zeal and your Edge. Should be pretty quick because you are juggling those items. Roaming/Laning over, teamfights more prevalent- build is:

item 3087 item 3078 item 3031 (item 3264 /item 3269 ) (item 3024 /item 3211 ) depending again on their damage type. You WANT cdr, no armor pen (your ult does that), and bruiser stats. As you team fight, you want to probe- no hard engaging until at least 2/5 of the enemy team is below 75% UNLESS THEY ARE THE TANKS. That means you should toss Q and winds, no E, use shield to block deadly disengages. IF you are defending and not attacking (though yas is meant to aggro not defend), you can use your E carefully to get probs before recasting to get behind tower again.

My final Yasuo Build looks: item 3087 item 3078 item 3031 (item 3264 /item 3269 ) item 3110 item 3102 . Depending on enemy team mobility, positioning, and general map awareness I might swap boots for item 3026 .

But this is all stuff I do. I'm totally not pro =P

Edit: I'm crazy, but I like my 200% extra Q damage, my mixed damage boosting, my 100% crit chance, and my reaction skill.
