Taliyah Nerfs

In the patch notes it says “Taliyah has a lot of strengths that are great in pro play, and just okay elsewhere. A lot of that comes from Q's waveclear, so the bulk of our mechanical changes focus on that ability (with tuning elsewhere).” I understand your reasoning for wanting to make her easier to play for the average players. Nerf parts of her kit and buff others so she is good at all levels.

Then I looked at the changes you made to her in your patch notes and I just see nerf after nerf. You destroyed her Q ability, you nerfed her E, and you nerfed her ult. The only non-negative changes that were made was reducing the cooldown on her passive and W, and those aren’t going to make her better. So much for “tuning her elsewhere.” So Taliyah doesn’t have wave clear and her ult is less useful, and in exchange she got basically nothing...

You wanted to make Taliyah less good at pro play and better at other levels, but all you ended up doing was making her garbage at all tiers.

As a 735,000 Mastery Taliyah main and a dedicated player of my Shuriman Princess since May 18, 2016; I get it. The only thing I can't live with is taking away my Q AOE. I can LIVE with every thing else.. Sorta.. Okay, I'm not really a fan of the Worked Ground movement speed being removed either..

Nevermind. Riot burned my kit alive. FF20

I'm sorry, but did you miss the fifteen fucking extra base MS she got!?

That's a fucking massive buff. On top of the 10% extra MS she got on her passive.

[NEW] WORK IT While on Worked Ground, Q cost is reduced to 1 mana COOLDOWN 11/9/7/5/3 seconds ⇒ 9/7.5/6/4.5/3 seconds

1 mana when on worked ground. One. Fucking. Mana.

W cooldown reduced to 12 at all ranks (rather than scaling down to 12) as well.

Are we reading the same patch notes?
