I'm told that because I placed in Bronze, that means I deserve Bronze. Okay, well what about that player who got carried every match until they got placed into gold? That means they deserve gold? Explain. If you leave a downvote, leave a comment. For each downvote without a comment that proves me more right in my point that you guys are full of sht.
Sasogwa1 votesYou deserve the elo your MMR puts you in. A gold player that constantly loses and has a terrible win ratio will be matched with silvers if not bronze players, and he'll have pathetic LP gains on win and high LP loss on loss.
Create Art1 votesSomeone who can climb with another person "carrying" them these days is not really the case a lot of the time. The game is very team based, not individual player based. Both people typically have to do well (not in every case, but most of the time, I've found) in order to win the games anyway.
If you are in Bronze, you aren't playing well enough most of the time to bring yourself up through the ranks into Silver or above. That's just the way it is.
I've played only solo games and I'm Gold III. Climbed all the way from Bronze IV at the start of the season.
lilpokfluf1 votesThere's a skill to being carried otherwise we would win every game. Not everyone is bjergson, some people are good but not enough to carry, when those people realize who they are they win as many games as the bjergson by playing their role correctly alongside the carry.
