Why is AP Tryndamere still a thing?

Please give it the shaco treatment and make AP terrible. I was just in a game where tryndamere was using his e every 4 ish seconds, while still doing the insane crit damage he would normally do. He also did the most damage in the match, and he wasn't even super ahead.
