"Not surrendering in an unwinnable game can teach you how to defend"

No, it teaches you how much the enemy can kill you instead of ending the game. You can't learn anything in an unwinnable game that you can't from a game where you are just behind, but a good teamfight is what is needed to win. Stop treating unwinnable games as the manual of this game. If a game is unwinnable, give up and move on, you won't learn anything special from wasting time.

Very very few games reach a state where they are unwinnable.

Many more are simply players giving up because they don't want to put in the effort.

I think people sometimes are afraid of facing the consequences of their mistakes, just like in real life. But if you actually do it, you might find a way to turn the game around. Find a pattern on the way he engages, see if you can catch one of them alone. CC is always helpful vs Kayn. Even if it was an example, every champion got a way to get countered. There is always a small chance to turn a game around. I think not surrendering is more of a mental fortitude thing than anything else to be honest. If you plan on surrendering just to jump right into another game, things probably won’t go that well, since you will probably be tilted. It’s much better to play it till the end while thinking on what it takes to turn it around, what you could have done better, how to improve.

Good luck out there.

Congrats to the downvoters on a thread where the op is obviously right. Getting hammered and being trapped in that situation has no educational value in terms of tacitcs or strategy, it's a great lesson in teeth grinding and finding appropriate curse words to scream at your monitor.

Its a choice on whether people want to ff or not. At no point are you or anyone else forced to ff. If ffing was mandatory then the game would just end at a certain gold lead which we all know from playing games that the gold lead doesnt mean victory.

As long as you are able to get gold a game is still winnable no matter how bad it is.
