Are you tired of getting your defensive structures ruthlessly hammered? Are you tired of the enemy assassin carry \ Zed / dive in and back out without jack? Do you wish that inhibitor turrets and nexus turrets would even consider dealing damage? Then the SRREBD treatment is right for you!

Main Points

  • To increase defensive structural power
  • To introduce more interaction with defensive structures
  • To introduce more strategic interaction when sieging
  • To counteract brainless pushing
  • To actually have a chance in defending

Why? On so many occasions, kills will be missed, lives will be saved, just from the lack of damage that an older version of the turret would have compared to the laser turret. However, that doesn't mean that then it was perfect. Riot changed it after all, signifying that there was a need to change it. Riot took a step in the right direction, but more could have been done to pursue what could have been done.

How? Many changes will be made regarding turrets and base walls:

Outer Turrets Now has two parts of the turret. Both parts have respective health and resistances and can be targeted separately. Main part: Laser Shots: Mainly the same with some damage tweaks. (NEW)Second Part: Minion Compartment: Unleash the Minions! Damage is slightly lowered, but when the total health is under 50% health, gain the "Unleash the Minions!". buff. .Unleash the Minions! will summon 3 melee minions that protect the turret and attack any enemies within a 650 range. Unleash the Minions! increases the amount of damage dealt by the turret as well. Lasts for 5 seconds. 5 second cooldown.

Inner Turrets Now has three portions. (refer to outer turrets) Main: Lasers shots. Secondary: Minion Compartment (CHANGE)Third: Shield: Shields the allied champions around this turret gradually, and gains a shield for itself when the overall health is below 50%. (Can be targeted separately)

Inhibitor Turrets Now has four portions. Main: Lasers shots. (NEW) Overheat: Every third hit does splash damage for 70% of the original damage (NEW)Main: Dual Laser Beams: Two weak beams that ramp up over time and can focus different units. Secondary: Minion Compartment will unleash minions as soon as it is attacked. Third: Shield

Nexus Turrets (NEW) Now are part of the Nexus. Main: Laser Shots and Dual Lasers. Secondary: Minion Compartment (Follows Nexus Rules and Inhibitor Turret rules) Third: Shield (NEW)Fourth: Excess Discharge: When taking over 5% of the turret’s max health as damage, deal damage in a radius around it. Cooldown: 5 seconds. Absorb 5% of the damage taken during the cooldown and reduce the future cooldown by 1. Stacks up to 3 times.

Base Walls (NEW) The spaces where there are no base walls are filled in by base gates, where enemies cannot enter but allies can. Walls remain. (NEW) Base gates can now be targeted and have health and resistances. Gate segments are the same size as those that currently exist. (NEW) Base gates can be destroyed, permanently being destroyed.

I want to play League of Legends, not some World War I Trench Warfare simulator. Hint: Ziggs wins.

League isn't a tower defense game... while i think turrets need a buff of some kind it doesn't need this type of buff/change
