If we are going to have a ranked team builder we will need to pick what roles we don't want.

Simple as it is, most players can only play comfortably on 2-3 roles and might be unfamiliar with the current meta, playstyle on lanes outside of those. Riot already stated that we will have a fill option, but unless we are ready to play any role any time it will be a risky choice. What do you guys think about it?

If we're going to have a successful teambuilder, we need to remove blind pick for a week or two. Let people actually experience teambuilder instead of just sticking with what they know.

Lol, got a good laugh out of this. 100% accurate though.

As a side note though, ranked team builder already seems like a bad idea. It's either gonna have no bans, or gonna be a breeding ground for trolls.

But what if I'd like to queue up for 2-3 roles hoping that I would find a game faster? As far as I know it will have a position selection, then when the whole team is together you will be put into draft pick. I'm quite sure that we will have kick to punish trolls.

Team Builder is a flawed system for a few reasons.

(Opinion) If you are not able to play multiple champions/roles/lanes you really should not be rewarded.
You would think Riot would look at the faults of Dungeon Finder in World of Warcraft. Both are great in theory, but fail in practice for the same reason. Supports (healers) have a MUCH lower play rate than Mid/Top/ADC (dps), add in Junglers (tanks) who are also below DPS picks and the wait times will be annoying. The main problem is, if I wish to support I'm going to get it almost every time in normal ranked so why would I que up for Team Builder ranked to get the same thing? Until there is a reason, or until there are more people to play support/jungle it doesn't work.

So why build a WHOLE new system until these issues are overcome? It's just a project in futility.
