I was cracking up and started cheering for them after their first kill in the first game. It was pretty awesome. But to be fair as much as I prefer them over TSM, I do think they got a little lucky in all the right moments and it would probably not go so smoothly if they were to rematch.

I agree somewhat; they had a few things fall their way in the games (still, Santorin got a lot of dragons off them with the Nunu), and I don't think it'll be as one sided, but UoL's individual and teamplay just seems better than TSM's; I mean Bjergsen picked Azir into Syndra and still lost the lane pretty bad. Sure, TSM is working with a new jungler, but so is UoL, not to mention the Santorin-Bjergsen synergy was so hyped up, plus TSM has a lot more experience playing professionally. UoL seem to be improving really really quickly.

They've been my favorite since they made it into the LCS in the Promotion Tournament (hadn't even known they existed before that). They have balls, and the strategic and tactical prowess to back it up. We could be witnessing the birth of a legend, folks!

tsm was outplayed from pick/bans all the way to the nexus. UOL much respect my 2nd fave team now(C9 #1). that TwistedFate jungle made me hop out my seat

You need a lot of help and you might want to follow what ever build / runes / masteries he did as well. I tested it in a custom game and cleared red buff with only like 30 hp/ 200 hp both times I tried it. He must have played the leash range on the jungle monsters perfectly to end up with as much health as he did because just face tanking it didn't work for me.

After seeing them in the promo tournament, I was actually planning to start watching EU LCS just for them; they keep making a case for themselves as probably my favorite team period. It isn't even that they pull out off meta picks; it's that they're really, really good. I mean sure, Xerath got counterpicked and snowballed on hard, and Azir got put up against a very strong lane bully, but PowerofEvil just manhandled Bjergsen in mid lane all day. Always been a fan of teams that get a lot of carry potential from their other roles (not just ADC), and their teamwork is phenomenal. Just watching them play, there seems to be a level of trust and just innate synergy that you don't see in a lot of teams; watching them pick apart TSM, they seem to have come a long way since the promotional tournament.

Even back then in the promotional tournaments when they lost games those games were very close ones. They almost turned games around when the enemy snowballed, when they were ahead they decimated.

Yea, you could see a lot of their individual skill back in the promo tournament, but I was really impressed by their teamplay in the most recent games vs TSM. That max range Syndra stun -> flash thread-the-needle Thresh hook -> flash+Wukong E+ult they pulled on Bjergsen was beautiful, and it was only one of the many plays they made where everyone just seemed perfectly in-sync. Their micromanagement with healthbars in teamfights is something I've only seen from like, top Korean teams and C9 when they're playing well (don't know too much about EU LCS)

I dunno, maybe I'm just super hyping them up right now, but they're one of those teams that make the game exciting again, sort of like whenever Faker masters another champion and brings them into the meta.

Ya unicorns of love did some work. They keep playing like that and they might actually become one of my fav teams. I still have hopes for Gambit Roccat and Fnatic in EU though.

TSM beat C9 in NA LCS Finals back in September. They are the reigning champ right now, but it doesn't mean c9 is weaker. I still believe TSM got lucky against C9 in game 5.
