With no deaths and straight farming

Bot lane, on average, will be 1-1.5 levels below their solo laners and junglers will be 0.5-1 level below their solo laners. I honestly just thought about it and thought about how absolutely insane that actually is. In past seasons, under the same circumstances, bot lane use to be about 2-3 levels lower than their solo lane equivalent and jungle about the same. I'd say 1.5-2 level differences.

I think in addition to lane strengths, you should look at overall exp distribution and decide whether TWO people sharing exp in one lane should be so close in level to the solo laners. If played correctly, 2v1ing use to be a possible thing. Now that's just a pipe dream.

Added: The same for jungle exp distribution as well. Previous seasons allowed weaker junglers to shine through some parts of the game (I'm talking player wise) if they weren't good at the early. Now, if you have no clue how to play through the early in the game and the enemy jungler does, the skill gap is too huge to close for a team. Because you're down one of the two bigger impact roles. You can't have crappy bot lanes AND a crappy jungler on the same team. The moment you do, you might as well ff at 4minutes. Because you WILL tell by that time period.

Bad junglers like me can still manage to fall behind 2-3 levels if a gank goes bad early and enemy jungle starts to invade x)

I routinely see junglers in bronze/silver fall 2-3 levels behind even if their ganks go well, simply from poor routing or aimless wandering.

Jungle experience is honestly pretty fine. You definitely feel it if you yourself waste time or have your time purposely wasted by enemy strategy.

I can't speak for bot lane because I just recently started playing ADC, but I've been jungling for years and the experience seems ok to me right now. Maybe a LITTLE overtuned, but nothing emergent.

They could nerf it if they want, but I'd advise them to be very careful about it. Its nearly fine as it is.

I think the jungle itself is largely fine, just some champs that get around it a bit too nicely.

Might wana reduce exp just a little and lower spawn timers in return if needed to promote farming over ganks but this is only a maybe, the bigger thing would be to nerf the early of those junglers that pump out powerful ganks and quick&healthy clears at the same time.

2v1ing top lane is a thing to me. If properly zoned and warded you can deny farm for a long time and will only suffer 1-2 levels for it. That's worth it since now you can draft secondary off-support to assist your top laner.

It's funny cause in an average game i outlevel my toplaner post lvl 6 almost everygame unless i fuck around with my premades. which is sad considering in previous seasons even beeing fed i would still be on par xp whise with toplane and midlane unless they died a lot.

I know there was a lot of bitching about the Catchup Exp last season and it was part of the reason why my Shyvana win rate sucked last season, but man this season as a Tank jungler if I start to fall behind it is REALLY hard to get back to a relevant state. I guess that is how it was back in Season 6, but maybe I just got used to how easy jungle tanks were last season...clear Raptors and get a full level of exp!
