It's season 8 and we are still bound to this terrible placement season

If you got unlucky and got afk/troll/idiot in the very first placement games then you are guaranteed to start at the lowest possibile point because of how those first games influence the elo of following games that thus even in case of victory increase your MMR less than first games.

This system is stupid, with people getting penalized unfairly. Not every one can invest the time and games needed to make up for the placement system shafting them at the start and having to slowly grind dozens of game to even get to their fair starting point while the luckiest guys get an headstart, that's just ridicoulous (and yes, I'm salty cause I got an afk at min 5 and a troll in mid game in the very 2 first placements and I know I'll have to start from bronze V 0 LP hell regardless of the result of the remaining games, and that's the third straight season that I got shafted by the placement system because afk/troll or just idiots)

At this point, any system would be better. Just show people MMR or not reset at all, but placement are just idiotic

If you get placed low but thin kyou deserve higher then you will reach that point because you deserve it, if you cant reach that point its because you dont deserve it andRiot was right.

I went 3-7 in my placements and got S3. I was Gold V last season after strarting in Bronze IV.

One would think to start back in whatever division/tier you left off would help fix 70% of such problems with the rank system.

I always thought after your 10 placement games there would be some kind of computer initiating process that would calculate what type of player you are NOT(Garbage= bronze, ok =silver etc) but your playstyle for example: if you're more of a passive laner but great teamfighter or a player that has on average lengthy games(40+) but admirable stats to show that you're not a pushover like 3.5-2.0-5.9-302cs per game), jungler control objective player, then you would also get placed with such players that fit your own style.

Oh, you are mad because players in your games don't ward well, too bad cause in your placements you yourself didn't ward either. Oh, you are mad because of your teammates only farm and nothing else well, you should have been more active in your placement games to considering you went 0-0-0-400 cs per game on average. Long story short after your 10 placement games there really should be a day-2 day for Riot/league/computer/Skynet to really take the time to calculate what type of player you are in average(kills-deaths-assists-warding-tower objective, dragons, barons, game lengths etc)
