Vladimir Duskblad of Draktharr

Does anyone know if vladimirs Duskblade of Draktharr procs while vladimir is in pool? Im guessing it does based on him still taking dot damage but not entirely sure.

Vladimir has always been my go to when facing Zed mid lane, as long as you dont take much poke early you can almost always beat him once level 7. If Duskblade can kill me while in my pool though may have to find another counter. On the other hand duskblade takes a little to build, at which point zed shouldn't be much of a problem anyways.
