Just started doing ranked

And while I do get ahead in most games (the ones I don't adc or jng), we seem to lose because my team doesn't push when we have 2 of them down. Any tips? Any surefire way to tell my team we need to move or we lose (i said that exactly, we lost cuz they never left base despite getting 4 people down)? If my teammates read this, I'm not mad- I just need to figure this out.

Say "we need to move or we lose" and hope they listen. They're autonomous humans, after all.

And as an aside, I would suggest learning more about itemization/runes/masteries before playing ranked. Judging from your lolking, you're hamstringing yourself (and by extension, your teammates) pretty severely.

Arguably the best option right here. Bronze elo players are notorious for their lack of teamwork (hence a lot of prejudice against them) so you need to find some way to rally them. Still, it's also good to start narrowing down your champion pool for each individual role.

Ping a lot, but not in a way that they know who's pinging.

The 100% best bet is to use someone who takes down towers fast without the help of a team. Other than that other people have covered it already.

Danger Pings Actually pings in general. Your team won't always listen but if you consistently make good pings, I find they work SO much better than typing, unless you need to say something really complicated. But, complicated things usually fail in soloQ, and pings are WAY better for time-sensitive situations.

its a massive "CoD Mentality" that is everywhere these days. sometimes you have to step up and be a shot caller, especially in lower ranks.

also remember: Games can be won in Champion Select! CC wins games as well, so dont waste picks/band on MasterYi who is literally an ADC with no range.

(Srsly, if you are going to pick yi, you might as well not have a true adc and get another cc champ. yi only provides damage cleanup, which makes him a very niche champion. he is not a "pick to win" champ and people who believe this tend to throw games by not being able to contribute.) and yes, i know EXACTLY how to take down a yi.
