I think he's fine the way he is.
I play him very well, and I am thus rewarded with kills and lots of gold, and fun gameplay.
If ESports hate him so much, why not just disable him in the LCS/LCK/etc.?
But these changes in the PBE literally remove what makes him a unique champ.
Please don't gut his kit. ;m;
GlockHammer2 votesYeah, farm for 20 minutes with barrels and Q to then steamroll opponent with superior item values due to faster gold harvest and hyperscaling. massive safety (thank you oranges), outduel any known champ without even having to involve ult, that we can reserve for whenever anyone is foolisn enough to try and all in our teammates regardless of location, for free assists and kills, as if the fucking free extra gold from farming is not enough.
Fun gameplay indeed, if you are lame and on the giving end perhaps. There is nothing fun about playing against him at all, I get the fun part about playing him though, easy wins collect freelo, doesn't get more fun than that. I hope they fucking dumpster him, lameass champ with minimal counterplay/interactivity.
Ofc you're gonna think your main is fine, they could buff him untill his Q instanty executes opponets and you'd still think it's fine, because you're a main and a fanboi and thus your input has no value, because you're biased. //end thread
PixTron1 votesTL;DR Edition: I see that you find GP annoying, but he's pretty counterable and weak in most cases. I learned this through fighting many enemy GPs. I suggest just picking champs like Shen and Panth to shread him, if you have trouble countering him.
-GP is actually pretty easy to counter and/or outplay. His W only cancels CC every 15-20 seconds, so you can easily trigger him with one or 2 threatening stuns, while getting another CCer (malph or somethin') to throw him off. And I play against GPs too, he's fun to play and I can kill enemy GP's easily (while playing other top champs, of course). Hell, Shen (my other main, ofc) is actually pretty amazing against GP.
And no, if GP was able to 1-shot with his pistol, that would be complete BS.
I, however, do see that you find him annoying. I find Yi, Volibear, Panth, Zed annoying, yet they are still counterable and outplayable (maybe except Zed, sometimes, and Yi with Guinsoo's and Sated is hard af to stop when fed).
-But really, GP already has a slow and hard early game (most of the time), I mean, his barrels are already so slow to get to 1 health until lvl 7, and they don't do that much damage unless it's to squishies (even then, you still have to run to squishy targets and track 'em down, not like Zed who just presses W twice and R once to track anyone down). And GP is, of course, the type of champ that you can shut down very easily, unless you play him well (I only know this from fighting enemy GPs).
