Like in the title. I am curious, because some decision and meta changes don't make sense. It feels like they are trying to kill this game. Creating an assassin support (like that was ever going to work), nerfing exp in jng, killing Irelia, now bringing her back, just to probably kill her again, creating Sylas. It is just like they didn't think "what would be fun for players" but rather "what would be fun to create".

I think the biggest issue is that they focus too much on the competitive/ esports side of the game they want their pros to be happy their pros and esports net them the most money and support afterall and they've forgotten about the little people

No. For one, that would require the game actually being killed lmao. Games naturally decline over time after their big hype is gone. "Dying" and "declining to a more normal number" are not the same thing.

First sorry for my incoming english. I've started play league season4 mid season. And game looked difficul was playing lineage2. Well game changing into priority >TIME. Most players don't have time learn all champs or read paches catch up with changes .but they still play league and feel more safe to play ranked games with dynamic queue. But what i see truly .is that maybe riot trying put more players in list to make game more balanced between teams .but thats so wrong i think. Because player otp is understand just mechanics his champ not entire game most of time. I kinda stopped playing league often then dymamic came out . Players became a lot more toxic if they autofilled like (wtf dont judge me iam autofilled. Or omg everyone feeding why you didn't dodged champ select if u cant play mid) well decent players became more toxic because they climb higher with they'r otp and then if they get autofill they lose hard and game basicly can be over. That what dynamic queue does and a lot more there is ++ there is more --- people happy they feels safe i get mid i know it.. what did ranked system season5-6? You press queue write chat your role talk to each other like team and trying do your best with these 4 random people . Ofc sometimes it does not go well .but we all pay price for it. But you will not find in plat gold or diam. "Damn i can't top never play it. " these players gonna sit back . Clean ranked system. And it was for me personally more fun to play. But i'am not sure about giving up on dynamic..now people got used to it. They would be like wtf unfair . But is it? Be gold adc and diamond mid? . Okey lets talk about season9 crap legit crap. What riot even was thinking i wonder often. How they think how they decide that this gonna be just fine or perfect. Gave 5 roles play on diffirent lp gains. They gave players dynamic to save our time then gives this to waste more time playing and gives easier connection to flame teammates. So now people start thinking like : hmm i main jngl i get top autofill i don't care about that game tho. And ruin other people games .play not important ranked games.hell yeah rito good job.. well does it look like riot killing game on purpose or not. Ye .. after all with ranked system they put them selfs into trap. What would happen if season5 rank system would back ? New players would run? Old would come back? Nothing? Game would die?
