Is Katarina broken?

I would like some feedback based on Katarina. A lot of people say she's broken as hell. But when I get CC'd for an hour after trying to assassinate, I'm wondering if it's just a low elo perspective. So, Diamond overlords. Is Katarina overpowdered/broken? I only ever have people complain about her if they're like, below gold. Where people don't know that CC is the bane of Assassins in general.

IMO every champ that has resets or reduced CD on kills/assists are broken and very difficult to balance... SPECIALLY a resourceless one.

Kata is broken in the same way YI is Broken: either your setup has the tools to hardcounter her, or your royaly screwed You really need instant hard cc to deal with a well played kata, her burst comes within a split second, you can't do anything against that, and she has a masiive ms boost afterwards to get away, and if she gets a reset, you won't be able to pin her down anyway. Most not so well played katas always trie to get their ult channled, but saidly the massive damage on a full channled ult isn't what makes kata powerfull, it's how mobile she is, how fast and inevitable her burst is and mostly the resets. Trying to channle the ulr just makes you an easy target and very vulnerable to burst and cc, so you have to be very thoughtfull on when and mostly how long to channle it. Her main thing stays cleaning up fights with mobillity+resets.

A "lot of people" around here have made threads about Cho'gath and Blitzcrank and how broken they are. I would take anything said by "a lot of people" only with several grains of salt.

Is Katarina overpowdered?

Yes, she took way too much Baby Powder.

Jokes aside, she stomps noobs, and the resets make her really strong if she snowballs. So in turn, they need to make her much weaker in the Early Game, since otherwise it would be too easy to snowball and steamroll over the enemy team.
