I also tend to build like more of a bruiser. Nothing wrong with getting more HP or armor when you're against a bunch of tanks. You may not be able to kill them sometimes, but they won't be able to kill you.
The only kind of champions that offer little counter play are the mobility assassin types that can shut you down completely if they position themselves correctly, and use the right combos.
the only thing that has no counterplay is damage from ad carries.
ninja tabi is literally the only defensive item that doesnt get its worth cut in half after 20 minutes. at this point, the only armor items that are worth anything are the ones with attack speed slows attached. and if you actually build health, youre only giving a bork carry more ammunition aginst you, since it just means he heals more off you.
i hope they revert the bork buff. not even thornmail helps anymore. i might just switch to assasins to be able to deal with them. ekko looks good right now. and as far as ive seen diana is doing ok.
Its not riot who dislike counterplay, it is the community who ask for more counterplay than intended.
