Sightstone upgrade
One of the reasons why people don't like playing support is because you feel like you're wasting at least one item slot on the sightstone which is a very meh item even when upgraded. But this can't be changed, because if it was strong it would become mandatory on every champion. So the solution is this: Similar to the old Eleisa's Miracle (btw, I loved that item, I wish it was brought back to the game), you could upgrade it (or it would upgrade automatically) after you've had it for a certain amount of time or levels. This would prevent e.g. midlaners from buying it, or at least they'd have to face the decision between going for that extra vision, and more immediate power. But supports would still be able to get some power, at least in the late game. E.g. after you've had a sightstone or eye of the watchers for 20 minutes, you can purchase an upgrade that gives Eye of the Watchers 50 extra Ability Power.
from the game.
Another poster brought up how they should just combine
with the other 2 Smite upgrades
and make warding primarily the Jungler's job, you know, since keeping tabs and securing objectives is primarily their job anyway, they don't lose out on levels because they do camps and roaming the map is something that comes with the territory?
, which puts a class that is already on welfare even more behind because of an item that is mandatory in every match, something Riot themselves has stated and expressed is problematic itemization design countless times since the dawn of League.
is VERY helpful
