I never ever thought of having it ever reset completely on kill again, and I **REALLY **like the way riot approached it. I am skeptical on the mana reduction but I trust RIOT's decisions with Darius, The Hand of Noxus, The Top Lane Terror. Let me just say these were the best changes (5.5 and the ones linked) I think I have seen in long time. Thank you RIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
iConcy3 votesI don't really agree with the mana cost thing, what i think they should have done is had the 12 second timer for mana cost still. For example, darius ults and kills one person at 100 mana, the next ult costs (75/50/25/0 - something like this) within a 12 second period. The 12 second period refreshes with another kill. After the 12 second period is up, the next ult cast will be 100 again. I just don't like the idea of darius having free ults, seems a bit over the top to me.
Like imagine darius in a fight with no mana but still being able to get a penta with his utl?? seems stupid to me. If you're a mana dependent champion you should always be reliant on it to some extent. I just hate "free" spells in this game. there are too many of them now.

360D3GR3SS1 votesI fully understand the boat you are on! I had the same opinion. However looking at the time when Darius does best is always pre 16. His ulti will only fully reset and be free at level 16. Meaning his power remains the same except his late game got a nice buff. His lane presence is exactly the same, pretty much everything is exactly the same up to level 16.
