i am trying my best against yasuo. i know he is one of vel'koz's counter champs but when im in a match against him i dont know what to do. his windwall blocks all except ult. he can dash through any minion to dodge my skillshots so how am i suppose to fight?
i hate the thought i have to completely avoid him and only fight when someone helps, but if i have to ill do it.
WillieTheWhale2 votesI would avoid fighting him, even considering a lane swap. he is just a perfect counter in lane, since he always has minions to help him dodge. consistent auto attacking often helps, when he gets in your face you should be able to e him.
But, tbh, just pick malzahar. He cant block shit from him :).

Xilixer1 votesno i hit about 70% of my skill shots but the instant he gets his dash and wall up it becomes very hard to do so.
i typically use flash heal.
AyRe CoNteMpT1 voteswhy do you hate the thought to have to avoid him? its beautiful. you have the better champion so you have the FREEDOM of chilling while he doesnt. if he lets you waveclear and chill (he cant really stop you) then he loses. why do you want to make it harder for yourself?

Truly Prideful1 votesI just farm against him. Poke with autos if you can, only use spells if you can bait out windwall. Never fight him from a position where he has easy dash paths out. I usually only bother when there are only 1-2 minions left so he has to choose to come at me and not have an escape, which most Yasuos won't bother. Best advice I can give is to just farm it out and win at the objectives, you can trash his team and him there.
