Remove Blind Pick

Only thing different between Blind and TB is that in TB you get the roll you want, you can leave the queue if it turns out you can't play. In blind, you have to call your roll which has a chance of being taken anyways by a troll. If Blind was removed queue times for TB would be much shorter and people would be less likely to rage quit because they didn't get what they wanted.

EDIT: Thanks for feedback guys Firstly, "Like others said, sometimes if you cannot decide what role or champion, go into blind pick and hit random." In blind you can't just hit random, especially when you get a group of people who don't want to break meta. IMO random should be available in TB and it if it was it would be much better than in blind because once you have your champion you can queue up in that role (sorry, couldn't figure out how to quote it lol). Secondly, if the amount of players who played Blind went to TB queue times would be just as long as blind if you stuck to meta, if not only a minute or so longer. The only reason why TB takes so long now is that there aren't too many players queueing and every time they queue they get matched with people nearest to their skill level while also factoring in whether or not they have played the champ, lane, etc.

Thirdly, new players could easily get used to TB, in fact they would probably enjoy it. Something I think would be a cool addition to TB is a TC could choose a specific champion and role and whenever you go to queue up, it would show you "Hey, people are looking for Nasus top right now", giving new players a little more incentive to try new champions.

Fourth(ly?), Of course, this change couldn't be implemented with TB in its current form, I think giving it some more options when queuing to draw a larger player base beforehand would be great.

I think the two queues offer different experiences. Also in blind pick you can pick your champion based on the other summoners' champions while you can't do that in TB.

Sometimes I can't decide which roles or champion I want to play. So I like going to blind pick and choose whatever roles/champs are available.

I don't think we're ready to disable blind pick until team builder offers a better way to fill.

Just because you don't like Blind Pick doesn't mean others don't. What's wrong with having both them? You complain that people don't try TB because of blind pick so the queue times are longer. Well, Dominion queue times are too long so do you think Summoner's Rift should be removed? This is the most self-centred and childish argument I have heard in a long, long time. I understand that many people prefer Team Builder, but if it truly is a better mode, people will gravitate to it naturally. There is no need to remove Blind Pick.

I understand what your saying. But before TB blind pick made everyone play different roles which got everyone to be skilled and at least have knowledge of every role and champion. If you didn't get top and you had to go adc then you have to play adc unless your want to dodge and wait 5 minutes. There are way more top, mid and junglers then bot laners. So if there was only TB then everyone would try to play who they want so that means waiting longer.

Riot addressed this during the release of TB.

No.

I'm with you, but they quickly said no.

The thing I don't like about Team Builder is that you don't get to see what everyone has to offer. In blind pick you can go in and shuffle through and show everyone the options available to them. After you queue up in Team Builder and join a group you can't change your champ. I.G. You can't say, "Hey, I'd like to Panth top, but if we have an AD mid and need some AP I could play Vlad." or "I want to play support, would you prefer Thresh or Leona?" It takes a lot of the potential discussion and flexibility away.

100% agree. However many people have started league with blind pick, and they stick with it. What i'm saying is there are alot of noobs playing in blind pick, and moving them to team builder would be terrible, with the trolls in it already.
