I like the new 10 ban system, people claiming it reduces # of bans are just wrong.

3 reasons I like it: 1). I always get a ban and my team gets 5. If enemy teams bans same champions, I dont care as much, I don't want to see what I ban in the game, that's primary purpose of bans. 2). It will be much faster. Current ban phase, I feel, is unnecessarily wrong. 3). People claiming it reduces total # of bans are just wrong. Lets examine most common argument: "there are 2 must-ban champions, which will be double banned, thus new system is only 6 bans for others, not more than current one". This is just plain wrong. if there are indeed 2 must-ban champions, than current system gives us 4 other bans, new one 6 ones, still much more. For new system to result in fewer total bans, ALL 5 bans must be the same for both teams, and that is unlikely. Even then, as long as champions I want banned are banned, i don't care as much if enemy team duplicates the bans.

All you have to say is that you like it because it gives you a ban. People do have a valid point that it reduces the total number of banned champs.

The fact that it grants every player that will to ban one champion they wouldn't want to play against is fine with me. There have existed numerous games where a player without ban would call for something and not get their way. While it may result in less than 10 bans, it makes sure that every player had a say and if the statement of "should've banned X" comes up, well...
