So about grievous wounds...

I am an adc main and I find the lack of a solid anti healing item to be very inhibiting in many of my matches. Executioners Calling was not an attractive item and i get that, but this doesn't mean it shouldnt be replaced. With this new jungle/tank item craze can adc's get a little love, just a little (no everyone hates us). Well I find it really frustrating to fight these 4k hp swains and Vlads that can nuke my health bar whilst healing more than I can kite them for. Overall I am having a lot of trouble dealing with a lot of these new bruisers and their items in general but more specifically I wish there were more strategies and options to counter play as adc's these days other than being forced into not so convenient situations like taking ignite for their Vladimir. Sorry if this post is incoherent i'm just slapping my thoughts down on paper but if any of you at riot could maybe give me some feedback on a possible item in the future or just a friendly tip from another player, i'd be really grateful. I want more options with dealing with these big guys that are dominating the meta and I think a few new items such as a nice grievous wounds ad item would be a good start.

ADC character/item revamp following Worlds, so that's one thing. Another thing is that Riot is removing GW so they can tune healing down to proper levels.

Unfortunately, this means the best advice is "wait and see."

tuned down from what sources? Right now, Relic Shield offers plenty of sustain for tank supports, Compared to actual sustain supports like Sona, Soraka, and Nami. So are they going to nerf Support sustain? Relic Shield sustain? or the Sustain from LS and spellvamp?

All sources. Vlad, Mundo, Sona, Relic Shield, LS/SV, Visage, Warmog's. Everything.

The idea being the lack of a hard counter makes balancing healing/excess regen much easier.

understandably. Certain effects (such as Stun) Countered by other effects (like Tendency) are given the unrealistic expectation of being balanced around haves and have nots. (tanks will build merc treds, ADC's will not) So instead, riot focuses more on knockups, which arn't affected by tendency. (They are not affected by QSS either so ADCs still get shafted there.)

In terms of sustain. I guess what I'm hearing is, healing is too strong without Grievous woulds, and too weak with it. My main concern was making sustain supports viable again. They don't have much presence, And I feel relic shield makes their sustain somewhat moot.
