Guys, Don't Leave Just b/c You're on Tilt.

**Overview: **I've been having this problem a lot in Ranked recently. And if you're in a low rank (Silver V) like me I bet it happens very frequently. It always amounts to no fun when this happens, whether the Leaver is on my team or not. Some may think, "You're in Silver V, you should be happy the enemy team only has 4 people now." But through my eyes, it is not right. It takes the exciting and exhilarating away from the entire game. Usually when it happens they just FF @ 20 which leaves me with a very boring game. Not to mention, I know that feeling of having a disconnected person who DC'ed b/c they were tilted; and it doesn't feel good at all. So I actually feel for those who also have a disconnected member of their team.

Example Game: Just as an example for those who might not understand what I'm saying or those who just want to see why I'm posting this. So a few games ago I had my last straw... It started as me playing support with a Lee Sin jungle. This Lee Sin was AFK right until minions spawned so he got a late start on his jungle camps w/o a leash. So after taking his first camp he proceeded to go to his buff which is when he got executed and immediately started tilting. In that chat he started cussing and saying things like "fml" which was the first indication that he was gonna have a rough game. Fast forward at 10:00 where my ADC and I (the support) we're getting massively pushed under tower. We were under tower because they had a Heimerdinger support who placed turrets right near the turret so we couldn't get out, and not to mention they had a Caitlyn who was maxing W and placing those on the perimeter of our tower. So basically we were land locked within our tower. Lee Sin being the jungler he was decides to gank where he instantly walks into a Caitllyn trap only then to get bombarded with Heimerdinger and Caitlyn abilties/aa. At this point he flames the ADC and I for not helping; in our defense he walked straight into the traps. After this you can tell he was on the verge of quitting due to him constantly saying, "i swear one more time and im done,". Now he died once.... once. And he already had thoughts of quitting! So low and behold he tries to counter jungle and then dies to the opposing jungler which was a Rek'Sai. After this Lee Sin exits the game, chatting one more complaint right before he leaves.

Potential Solutions: So as someone who actively who has this problem I believe there is a few solutions. So here is a list. 1. Stronger/More Restrictions: Add more restrictions and heavier punishments along with them. Some things for stronger restrictions would be things such as making the Leaver Buster time longer. And more restrictions I believe could include things like chat restrictions for people who have a history of leaving/being toxic. 2. Remake/Pardons: If there is an AFK I believe you should be able to remake the game. And yes I know there is a remake button, but it doesn't help the fact that some leave later in the game at important parts of the game. I could see how players can manage to manipulate this (a 3 man premade are losing badly so they have one quit and they automatically get remade). And if not a remake, maybe even a loss. Another option would be a pardon which means that if it is a ranked game and you have an AFK/Leaver your game's LP loss (if you lose at least) is spared. You just get -0 LP, but it still counts as a loss.

I've seen a serious increase in leavers and quitters this last week. A person dies once and says "I'm done".

Just keep reporting these morons and eventually they'll get banned.

Some things are just going to be what they are, ultimately LOL is just a game and there are always going to be people that 1) don't think what they do in the game matters and 2) have no concern on how their actions impact others, so I'm not sure that there is a flat if they do this it will fix the problem.

Also Everything is situational. Like in your example what did you and your teammates do to help your struggling JG? words of encouragement? tell him a joke? anything to make him lighten up or enjoy the game more? Maybe he was just a jerk, or maybe he was just a kid having a bad day, and a little support would have really helped him, I like all of your penalty ideas but I think that everyone (even the players who are toxic) need to remember that those other players are people too and even if they do something wrong, make mistakes, or curse too much in chat a little empathy from his/her teammates could make a big difference.
