Not sure if they still do Chromas... but a chroma will really compliment the Spooky Gangplank skin, since it is mostly one color (think Zac chroma). But I changed the hue and made three colors that I think would go well. Their delivery is what needs to be managed. For instance, it was determined that the Champ + Skin (if applicable) + Chromas bundles were ineffective and no one was willing to buy them. A few people did if they had the skins and champ, but from the ground up, no one was interested.
Riot needs to determine how best to progress if they make more of them. They may be experimenting with ideas like mastery rewards, Hextech chest freebies, or just simple IP currency "skins." I would gladly buy A Chroma for IP, and I'd also love it as a reward for mastery. There are ways to make it work, but Riot's initial pass at it was a bust and that's why they're back on the drawing board.
Sukishoo3 votesHad nothing to do with the recoloring ascpet. They are more so looking into how to release them better. A lot of people complained they were done in a 3 patch for 590RP, even though at the same time people had originally voted for such.

But the extra colors equal extra spook which will fill your spooky spook needs.
