Petition to bring all Rotating Game Modes to custom!

Hey, I have been playing league of legends ever since S1, and ive got to say, you guys have made some awesome gamemodes! For example, Dominion, URF, All for one, HexaKill, Black Market Brawlers, Nexus Blitz, Ascension, etc. I haven't seen these RGMS for a while, and would like for riot to put these game modes in custom! I've asked plenty of people, found creator of boards who agree with me, and would like to bring all RGMS (rotating game modes) to Custom!

Honestly, riot should just release a map editor tool and watch the custom game mayhem!

Dont forget about Doombots, Blood moon, Nemisis Draft, Dark Star singularity, Nexus Siege, Overcharge, Poro King, One for all (aram/mirror), Showdown 1v1, 2v2, Star Guardian Invasion, and Butcher's Bridge!

It's not going to happen. Just like Dominion is never coming back. RIOT doesn't give a shit what players think, it's their game and they'll always do what they want with it.

i am like him, i wont give up hope.... imo we should be able to choose what map we want to play and have fun with friends in....we should even have this choice for pvp after 10 years....the maps exist, they are fun, we want to play them, every other similar games dont block content from their players why wont rito jus stop giving reasons not to do so? we dont want you to spend more time ''fixing'' the maps we will deal with it the way they are, anyways it's already like this with summoner rift people have asked for you to stop ''tinkering'' and just let it be like it is... tl;dr : just give us access to all the maps in customs this should have been implemented long ago

100% support BUT leaving in champselect must be punished then (in customs you know) remember when aram was custom only? getting into a game was almost impossible.

Unfortunately it won't happen. People think that these can be put into customs permanently as an easy fix but that is far from the reality of it

Each patch comes with various changes to champions, item, summoner spells, you name it. Everytime they do this they have to go through and make sure these balances as they call them, are tuned to every part of the game. So if they were to have multiple custom options they'd have to go through that every single time in order to make sure those modes don't break or malfunction.

It's much easier to put these into a rotation set up that comes along every few months as it's much less time consuming and they can then continually bring out new modes and features as well.

If however you mean that want them in customs when the modes are online, they did state the new client didn't yet have the capability to do so but they were working on it. As of Nexus blitz, I'm sure it's been solved.

I don't think they vault the RGMs just to make them special events. At least for nemesis draft and bmb they said the modes were incompatible with the new client and would bring up a lot of work to implement. Now I'm all for reintroducing them, this is just their standpoint. However, the new client is buggy af and implementing more stuff before they fix what's problematic right now isn't a good idea. as you can see in game balance

What bothers me the most is that we haven't been able to play the RGMs in custom for around a year. And with the release of Nexus Blitz, we magically can. I feel like we are forced to love this game mode, by all means.

Guarantee you that would create a HUGE increase in custom games and a new wave of people who would log on and go straight to customs, to join pick up games, just to play URF and other modes. Not that, that would be bad imo... but to Riot?

What if they did a reward system? every 10 games of ranked/normal gets you one game of any game mode of your choosing?

Even if they just gave use Hexakill, Nexus seige, Poro king, dominion, ascension, one for all, and doom bots, i would be extremely happy. Ive been playing since season 3, and i couldnt care less about playing ranked. Just give me the mini games so i can have fun with this terribly balanced game (balance team has just gotten worse and worse since season 6 imo)

They're all worried about people leaving because of URF mode, but honestly, I'm feeling less enticed to play due to their constant focus on eSports, removal of modes, and the fact that there's no offense/defense balance anymore. I used to love doing everything that wasn't about the damage, but now that's all borderline useless when put next to somebody that rigged to kill things in 2 seconds. It's like we're ALWAYS playing URF mode.

I don't even believe them with the new client issue. Too many instances in the past of them saying things like "the community doesn't want that" Instead of "no we aren't going to spend resources on that"

you have my upvote but i doubt they'd do it simply due to server pressure and issues +the need of maintennce that will follow. Riot has no rotating gamemode available atm yet the clien is crashing like crazy. Heck they couldn't even get Clash to work properly after 3 seperate attempts in multiple regions.

This is also beside the point that the ranked playerbase would drop like hell once sth like this is enabled.

Sorry, this isn't "Heroes of the storm" and Riot does not have the "rescources", the technology or the funds to keep all game modes in the client. The client is actually maintained by three 80 year old men and overloading it would lead to extreme issues.

Furthermore, Riot does not want you to have fun. They want you to watch every LCS tournament and spend your entire time grinding the mustard yellow chromas known as "Prestige" skins. Allowing versatility and freedom of choice in the game will go completely against Her Riotler's plans.
