Riot, I was disappointed to see today that you are not listening to the community.

Not only did you remove Grievous Wounds from Miss Fortunes W, but you replaced it with a completely useless active.

You failed to listen to the community of Strut not being broken by petty combat and caster minions, and the active on her W doesn't even work!

If you remove Grievous Wounds, you'd think that when W is active Strut is not able to be broken for that time... but no, her instant strut can still be broken by minions and enemy attacks.

Placing her Passive on her W was the single most idiotic thing Riot has ever done, it does not stay on by a simple minion cast and it does not stay on for the duration of her W making it completely useless if you are getting attacked and need a way out.

Further addressing other issues, Riot has not tackled her weird scaling and her E is still not doing any damage to anything.

I cannot believe that you gave Miss Fortune the short end of the stick.

So ashamed with this lack of listening to the community, I would like to see a reply on this page by a Riot staff member so that I know this has been read; and in a perfect world I would like this to be passed on to whom it may concern for the sake of the community and the sake of this neutered champion.

I personally prefer the new MF. She just doesn't feel as clunky. The update to her Q (where it does bonus damage if t kills the target) is surprisingly helpful. If you consistently last hit with it, it becomes easy to bully the enemy ADC.

VDc0zCqe0w3 votes

bro just rush BT and you're fine, the shield blocks minion hits and BT rush it's the best one on MF anyways due to her low range (kinda like Draven)

she's OP as hell in lane now, an empowered Q (it's not really that hard to hit) deals 1/4 of your opponent's HP (1/3 if you got a BF)

the only problem is that lategame she sucks even more than before (but if you win midgame it's not a prob)

A Miss Fortune2 votes

I agree, her late game was nerfed a bit but due to how much power she has early - mid game, on top of them buffing her early - mid game, she can still be pretty strong late game if she gets ahead since she of course is an ADC and It's pretty easy for her to get fed in those time periods.

Q buffed.

E buffed.

W nerfed? Still gives the attack speed.

R same.

League players know balance obviously.

Actually her W has a lower cooldown and reactivates her passive, and her ultimate does more damage according to how many stacks of Impure Shots you already have on them. Oh and her passive was buffed.

Yeah, pretty much everyone complaining about the Grevious Wounds removal doesn't know a single thing about Miss Fortune and most of them haven't even played or even bought the champion, let alone are viable to discuss her.

You've never played MF before then, name or not. Grievious wounds was why she could win duels against other ADCs; sole reason. Her actual stats and abilities aren't all that damaging compared to others, but cutting down heal and vamp is what mattered.

Also, hon, her ult scaling with impure shots? That was added ages ago. Pay attention.

A Miss Fortune2 votes

Actually, she has an above average damage output for ADCs, and her Grevious Wounds isn't why she can duel people effectively.

Her Q is a level 1 instant auto attack reset that also has base damage in itself and scales off 85% of her AD, so essentially It's 3 auto attacks in less than 0.5 seconds at level 1. That's insane, on top of her W passively giving her the potential to do around 130 extra damage on her auto attacks? Her damage output is insane if you've ever built her correctly. I personally build Infinity Edge, 2 Phantom Dancers, and Last Whisper or Black Cleaver and start blowing people up in 2 - 3 auto attacks.

Grevious Wounds VERY rarely did anything on her. I can back this up with maining her for hundreds of games and also playing every other ADC in the game with the exception of Draven extensively. I feel in no way that her damage is mediocre in comparison to other Marksmen.

As for her ultimate, it was noted on the PBE that her ultimate does more damage according to how many stacks of her W passive are on the enemy

Sorry, but overall Grevious Wounds had relatively no effect 90% of the time. Sure it was useful that rare moment the enemy ADC used Heal and was stupid enough to do it while they had GW on them, or that rare moment the enemy had a Soraka Support, but even then the Grevious Wounds only lasted 2 seconds. It didn't really effect her.

If you've mained her for 'hundreds of games', it's pathetic that you don't realize the power of Grievous Wounds. Halving life-steal for the entirety of an ADC duel, halving heal (which decides ADC duels early), and halving baby-sitter support heals during those fights is why she won. If you don't know that and if you honestly build 5 AD items, no lifesteal, with no defensive choices on her... it's really obvious you have no idea how MF worked. Her damage itself was subpar compared to the likes of Graves and Draven, she won against them because of Grievious wounds. (And her Q still loses her damage late game by even using it)

Oh wait, nevermind. Silver 5, 0/3 MF ranked wins, yup. You showed me with those MF skills and mastery of champion mechanics. You do so well with her, it's no wonder you're not pro.

A Miss Fortune1 votes

Miss Fortune's Grevious Wounds lasted two seconds, it halved lifesteal and it halved the Healing spell or Sona/Taric/Soraka's heals, but again it only lasted two seconds. Sorry, it may of been "overpowered" in lower elos though I'm pretty sure majority of the Plat and Diamonds I've played against just simply wait for the Grevious Wounds to fall off if possible to heal. Though this cannot always happens and you actually force them to burn certain things for only half of the benefit, it still wasn't that big of a playmaker and didn't really help her all that much. The only exception is when I take Miss Fortune mid. All ADCs can be played fairly well mid lane, and playing against someone like Vladimir or Morgana who have a lot of built in sustain makes the fighting much easier, but Miss Fortune is primarily played ADC and there are not many mid laners who have built in sustain.

Miss Fortune still has an above average damage output and you're comparing her to Graves and Draven, two ADCs who are in no way similar to Miss Fortune. Draven's entire kit is revolved around damage, he has relatively no utility and very minor CC that isn't that hard to dodge. Graves is a short ranged ADC who relies on all-ins to get anywhere, he can't poke that effectively, doesn't have any utility really, and is completely revolved around quick bursts to kill people. Both of these ADCs have no similarities to Miss Fortune, but both of their entire kits are revolved around damage whereas Miss Fortune's isn't and she actually does have some utility and a fair amount of CC.

Oh, and yeah of course my elo on my NA account where I pretty much never play Ranked is SO relevant to further your non-exisant argument. I don't really play Ranked on NA, and I've only played 2 with MF. One where I got extremely fed early and carried, but my team ultimately surrendered since everyone else on my team fed. And the other game I had to leave because for some reason my internet decided it should give me 900 constant ping and after leaving it counted as 2 losts. I've only won 3 games on this account but still hit Silver because I personally did pretty well. I may or may not climb to Plat/Diamond next Season though.

Actually, Graves, and Draven, along with Lucian are the ADC's most comparable to Miss Fortune. They are all early game burst ADC's, ESPECIALLY Graves.

And there are some things you said that make very little sense. You said Draven "has relatively no utility and very minor CC", Draven's Stand Aside, is literally the definition of CC, It has a Displacement which will interrupt any kind of channeled Cast, PLUS it applies a full 2 second duration Slow. If it hits you get the full 2 second duration of slow, and it can hit an entire enemy team.

Miss Fortune's "utility/cc" comes with Make it Rain, where she "rains bullets down in a circle", enemies INSIDE the circle get slowed, and once they walk out of the circle they aren't slowed anymore, So, potentially you might get anywhere from .25 secs of slow and 1/8 of the entire damage, to 2 secs of slow, and full damage of "E". I would HANDS down take a full 2 sec slow + displacement instead of the garbage that is MF E.

And on the subject of graves, and MF, they are both lane bullies with strong early games falling off late, with AoE Ult's. The biggest difference here is that Graves has more on demand mobility, his lane Poke is much more consistant and easy to hit, As Buckshot goes through minions in a fairly decent sized Cone, and his Ult is a Fire and Forget instant damage Ult. Whereas in MF's Poke requiries so many things to actually work, bad enemy positioning, your in the right position, a minion between, and the right ANGLE for it to Bounce, and if you want the 150% "bonus" the minion between them has to be within kill range of the First shot of Double up, thats ALOT of requirements for a spell to be considered effective. Where as Graves, again, just hits his button and BAM there's the damage, minions or not.

Same problem with Graves Ult vs MF's ult. MF's ult has more potential damage, BUT it goes in waves, deals Magic Damage, and ROOTS her in place for 2 solid seconds, Graves AoE Ult is hands down better.

There's so many ways they COULD have made MF's kit better, but didn't, and even compared to her closes ADC "kin" she basically does everything worse.

Oh ya, Draven even has a Speed Boost on demand, that's refreshable, and not broken by damage. So it's actually there when you NEED it.

A Miss Fortune1 votes

I don't see how Miss Fortune is worse compared to other ADCs. She has easily the best early game of all ADCs, and if you're winning against a Miss Fortune It's either due to her not having a clue what she's doing, or how the rest of the team is playing against the Miss Fortune. She's stronger than Caitlyn early game due to how well she can poke down the enemy and push them away from farming. Her poke can hit harder, on a lower cooldown, with lower mana costs, and not only that but Miss Fortune can all-in people very easily in comparison to Caitlyn who will most likely die trying to all-in someone without poking them down. She has a really powerful mid game that's similar to Twitch, both of them hit the enemy back line hard and totally ignore the enemy front line, and while both are squishy and have almost no escape, they can hold their own fairly well in duels. Miss Fortune inarguably falls off late game however, but she like all ADCs still do damage regardless and are still an incredible damage output.

I think you definitely have errors in what you said about the ADCs too.

Graves is NOT a lane bully, if you're being lane bullied by a Graves I have no idea what you're doing. His poke is extremely easy to dodge and he has a very short range aside from his ultimate. He doesn't poke effectively and relies on all-ins to obtain kills.

And how is Draven even comparable to Miss Fortune? Draven is absolute trash early game, his Q only scales off BONUS AD and his early game is by far his weakest point. I've never in my life had a problem with beating Draven's early game with Miss Fortune or almost any ADC aside from the ones who clearly do relatively no damage early game like Kog'Maw or Tristana but scale into hypercarries.

You have no idea what you're talking about and it's rather sad. Your continued lackluster performance was relevant because it proved how little of a grasp you had on MF's mechanics... which is evident by the claim of Grievous Wounds lasting 2 seconds. See, nothing you say matters after that because it's proof you never paid attention with MF to begin with.

Grievous wounds lasted 8 seconds when dueling another ADC. Each hit applied it for the duration of the steroid, then it lasted briefly after. That was the entirety of the battle and why she won. If you are ignorant of that mechanic, then yes, I can see why you're confused about that. In fact, you could keep it up on two people easily with a combination of Double Up and alternating targets. If you HONESTLY believe 8 seconds against an ADC shooting your face off early game isn't enough time to force a heal spell, I don't know what to say.

Not to mention that Graves and Draven both occupy the same niche as MF did, except they had nothing against healing lanes. Their goal was early game, low range lane bullies. You can't claim they can't be compared when... THEY DO THE EXACT SAME THING. The only advantage she had was impure shots which allowed her to face off against them.

I'm done with bothering to try to teach you about how MF worked mechanically. You can offer all the excuses in the world about "Oh, I totally have a diamond in another region and beat everyone and I'm such a good MF", but the lack of knowledge of both her kit and build paths is impressive. And if you were that good, it doesn't matter if someone fed or not.

So yeah, shh.

Consider the following:

Halving a 120 point heal is at least five percent of their health done as true damage.

Of course it's more than 120 points. It's going to do around 30-40 damage from the potion ticks, 60 from the heal, 10-20 from their lifesteal, and another 70-120 if they have a healing supp.

So, grievious wounds in a full all in trade is about... 120 to 200+ true damage. That's at least 10% of an ADC's total health, usually more.

I'm glad you agree it does a TON of damage. Because it does.

This is what riot is calling a buff to make her more in line with the other adc? Nope, its not good. I'm not hating on them, I'm just stating the fact. I dont agree with all these complaints about the new HUD, because they arent used to it yet. But the stats clearly show that MF didnt get much better with their quote on quote "buff". I see it how it is and I say it how it is.

Whats the point of making her look better if you dont fix her is my question. I say give GW back on to Q and then baam shes fine after that

Q is the same since you still arent going to hit anyone with the bounce part of it in real games, E buff is also basically worthless because the AOE is so small people can just walk around it/through it with it barely mattering. R was not buffed it already used her impure shots. W would have been worse than having the heal reduction EVEN if it still gave more attack speed than it used to which it now doesn't.

You can't manage to hit someone with the second bounce? Really? It's a big wide cone.

The buff on her E powers up her early game dominance because of the increased slow.

Ult does more potential damage.

Actually the nerfed the bounce cone of her Q Bounce. It used to bounce as far out as a 100% cone behind the minion. Now, they've lowered it to a 60 degree max cone, so its actually alot harder to get it to bounce to a champion now in Real Game situations. It's a pretty substantial QoL Nerf if you ask me.

The E is still VERY underwhelming, does little damage, and is easy to avoid the slow. I still don't understand why other Marksmen get skills that all you have to do is HIT the person, and they've under the full duration of the CC. I.E. Draven's "E", if it connects, they are slowed for 2 seconds, simple as that. Caitlyn's Traps, Hell, Ashe's AA's apply her slow so why does MF continuously get the "short end of the stick" in this category.

Her passive is still probably the most easily broken passive in the game, and the fact you can re-apply it with W, does NOTHING to keep it from getting instantly broken again by random caster minion 004 deciding its time to glare in her general direction.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this. With the much tighter bounce cone, enemy champs just side step slightly and it'll either hit minions or next to nothing. Especially if they're RIGHT on top of the minion, usually they'll be out of the cone.

I'll have you know that the W fully applying her passive has saved my life more than once. The extra slow at rank one on her E makes it much more handy than it ever was before, and the extra bonus damage her Q gets from killing units is way useful.

They gave Miss Fortune SO many buffs, but people are complaining about a 2 SECOND Grevious Wounds? I'm pretty sure anyone with any common sense or knowledge about the game would simply wait until the Grevious Wounds falls off to even heal and even then the healing reduction is just 50%.

Most people haven't played Miss Fortune in general. Even before the update she was strong.

Actually a lot of the community were calling for improvements to her strut. And I think they did something pretty clever for it, exactly what it needed imo, and potentially quite powerful.

If you remove Grievous Wounds, you'd think that when W is active Strut is not able to be broken for that time... but no.

that would be the other extreme there's a reason they were essitent on buffing her passive because it can be quite strong, that suggestion would tip if over for sure.

I think we need to give it time imo. Wait and see how pros play her.

I think MF is one of those characters similar to yorick that has funny scaling spells which with how items are they items have a difficult way of fulfilling. Example, Yorick heals off his e except its magic damage so to heal more he'd need magic pen.

In her case, she can't sustain off bonus magic damage on w. Items like wits end would be decent on her if didn't get way of crit chance (phantom dancer/shiv) rageblade might also be handy on her if it received a buff. Same goes for essence reaver. She can be pretty mana hungry if your not careful.

I nearly opened up with saying I was a non MF player, and that I just read the boards a lot and saw a lot of threads asking to buff her strut and read why this was a delicate thing. I think they found a good solution.

Insights can be obtained from just playing vs a champion too FYI.

Grievous wounds wasn't the entirety of her dueling power, your making an exaggeration there. It was handy no doubt, but she's getting something in return. Its also a team game, your support can run ignite Midlane can get Morello.

And grievous wounds has a lot of complications to it imo given in part because they nerfed lifesteal since its inception and how strong it can be for something that is quite essential to ADCs/fighters.

Grievious wounds was the entirety of her dueling power, yes. You lack 'insight' if you can't understand that, because grievous wounds does tons of effective damage against ADCs. ADCs with healing supports. Heal, which is the norm on ADCs. Do you get the picture? Grievous wounds is, essentially, a few hundred damage at all stages of the game and what let her duel ADCs even until late game. And yeah, support with ignite instead of exhaust, how about you lose duels quicker?

And more obvious that you don't play MF, because you think they 'found a good solution' to 'buffing' strut. I mean, could you at least have a basic idea of the way the changes worked? W being tied to strut does absolutely nothing UNLESS you are using your sole offensive steroid to run away. Strut falls off instantly on damage, still, so it's useless for chasing.

...you also just explained why MF worked, she was a counter to those ADCs/Fighters/Supports who relied on lifesteal/supports. That's why she was useful. Taking her only useful niche' away means she's bad.

She can be pretty mana hungry if your not careful.

because a 70 MS buff in combat as an ADCs only source of mobility is excessive, right.

The new mf is so much better.

You havent even played her if you actually think that. Not at a decent level at least xD

I played two games with Miss Fortune since her update. In on game I played her in mid lane and bought AP, my score was 4-0-11. In one game I played her in bot lane and bought AD, my score was 1-9-3. In my opinion her biggest strength is still her waveclear with her E in mid lane if you build AP. The duration of E was lowered, but the damage is the same, so it is a little bit easier to do damage against champions now. The Q change feels nice. W is a little bit weak, I would like it if it would work more like Evelynn W.

The so-called 'community' lacks credibility, that's why.

ok so since mf was reworked ive played her alot and shes so uselss she doesnt have cc, shes immobile, she cant trade (no more grievious wounds), she cant duel AT ALL anymore, her teamfighting is horrible her r does no damage and doesnt apply GW anymore so its not even worth using, she has incredibally low damage, and theres nothing she can do that another champion cant do better. On paper she got buffed but in practice its the complete opposite. she has a pretty mediocre early game her q is so predictable and hard to hit a champ with and its pretty low damage even with the kill proc. Shes the defintion of high risk low reward her w ruined her dueling potential and ive had maybe one time where her insta-strut came in handy it only works if you have flash because if youre in a situation where you dont have 5 seconds youre basically dead. Her e is useless as ever. Her r is just as low damage except it doesnt debuff anymore. Shes so unnecessary tbh, i think riot should rework her kit entirely or heavily change her bizarre scalings. You can feel shes an old and unpolished champion.

Her R did not apply grievous wounds. If it ever did, it was changed quite a while before this rework.

Everything was pretty much buffed, only thing I do not like about the changes is just Riot not giving us clarification on why they removed it. I think they're just slowly getting rid of GV and only putting it on items like Morellos.

She's fine, she got great buffs.

I agree the cone is too tight on the bounce.

She doesn't need grievous wounds, im not saying they should take it away outright without giving comoensation for it. Problem with grievous is that its just too strong against Mundo, swain, singe, trundle, any sustain dependent champion etc. Grievous wounds implementation made more sense back when you had force of nature, a 1.5 1000 hp warmogs, could stack BTs etc. The games changed since and grievous wound deny them too much. Imagine having your frits cut in half. Before you'd pick MF for grievous to counter high sustain champs, now you can pick MF for more general purpose use. Which I think is a good move as it makes a more viable pick against any matchup.

If she's needs more compensation by all mean I'm all for it. There are literally hundreds of ways she can stand out without needing grievous wounds. Or if she does have it it would need to involve more to it. Or be gated in some way.

I think give it some time, I think her win rate will actually climb.

I just wanted them to fix the Cast time/animation for her E, I don't know why, but it still feels kind of clunky and like it takes forever to cast it...could just be a bug with it, i dunno

Her E is still the most pointless skill imo and in general costs too much mana to even bother casting it.

Maybe if the slow persisted after they left the circle, it might be good.
