What does Counterplay mean to you?

For me, it is the ability to do something to help in diminishing the strength of an opponent, For example staying away from minions as much as possible when fighting a yasuo.

To me, counterplay means being able to look at bits and pieces of a champion's kit and analyse them and be able to find areas where I can reduce or negate parts of their usefulness, reducing their combat efficiency and attempt to put myself at an advantage, or them at a disadvantage.

Sometimes it's easy

Sometimes it's not.

I like making Morgs waste their Q by juuuust sticking out from behind my minions, and then going right back behind them if I feel like she's trying to get into position to toss a Q. Similar with other CC based skillshots like blitz and thresh Q

It's like rock, paper, scissors. Maybe? I dunno.

It's like picking Soraka into Karthus . Alistar into Blitzcrank . Thresh into Sona . I dunno. TwistedFate into Rengar .

It's like saying Poke > Burst > Sustain > Poke

I could be totally wrong.

Maybe counterplay is like knowing Blitzcrank can be harassed when he misses Q. Knowing to stay behind minions and ward bushes because he could be hiding and it's hard to predict a grab coming when you can't see him in the bush.

Feel free to speak up if you disagree. A downvote is not very informative.

Counter play is having an option in the sequence of events were you change/the out come. There are varying levels of possible counter play but riot tends to fall to the motto that dodging a skill shot is as deep as it needs to be.

Master the skill shot master the counter play.

Counterplay means playing Master Yi and afk farming until I'm level 6. Then I walk up to any enemy and spam my moves without looking at the screen.

For me counterplay is using your skill set to counter a specific enemy, for the purposes of gaining an advantage in a team fight or laning phase.

Something that most people forget when fighting me when I play Teemo and then decide to rage about it in forums instead of learning how to counter him.

To me: counterplay is when enemy tries to kill you ,engage on you ,you juke his abilities and kill him.
