Start reworking some AD champs for a change.
How about you start with zed, kalista, yasuo, and lee? Give them the Cass and Veigar treatment.

Besides Veigar, who the jury is still out on right now, every AP mid to get a rework has seen an increase in play rate, win rate, and tourney rate.
To be perfectly fair in their defense (as rarely as I do this)
Veigar isn't what I would call "gutted" if only because he can still work with numbers changes (it depends on what you classify as "gutted" though, which is something that will vary for everyone; gutted to me is someone who has a broken (broken does not necessarily mean overpowered by the way) kit from a rework that can't be fixed by mere numbers changes)
Q: AP on unit kill 1 --> 2 (and AP on champion kill 5 --> 10)
E: Cast time removed (right now the delay is more like 1.25 seconds or so, instead of actually being .75 seconds); if that still doesn't help you can lower the actual delay on the stun.
