What's going on with matchmaking?

So like I'll win a game right. One game. Maybe two in a row. With people whose ranks and mmrs are closer to mine. Then the game is like alight lets punish the wins. And I lose like 4 in a row from feeding teammates way under ranked. I don't get it.

Terrible matchmaking is nothing new, especially at the beginning of a ranked season, but yeah it's pretty safe to say it's way worse now than ever before.
