Old runes vs. New runes. Old seasons vs. this one. I'm curious, what do you think? Miss? Want?

According to what I can remember anyways when I played back then. I miss having flexible options with my play styles. Also magic pen, and armor pen items weren't broken back then. I feel like the game was healthier when I first started playing in like season 4-ish.

Some runes I really like, like sudden impact, ravenous hunter, gathering storm, etc. But like, didn't the old mastery and runes system have a much healthier impact on games? They were really flexible according to how you wanted to play, and you weren't fixed on one tree/rune to the champion you pick. You could change it according to how YOU wanted to play. Now your stuck in the precision tree for adc's for instance, or domination for assassins. If you take anything else its trolling, or very ineffective in most cases.

Also wtf is wrong here with tanks, penetration items, and conqueror?

Like I just was playing on PBE right. The enemy Sejuani literally built full blown tank and was doing great carrying her team early game she was too tanky to deal with early game and for some reason dealt a ton of damage, lmao, even tho she is a "tank". She has a crap ton of armor and magic resist, and even took item 3193 later on in the game, to deal with our burst. But we had a yasuo with conqueror and I was playing Katarina with a full magic pen build. She literally melted. To any one of us later on in the game. At the end I was like wtf what was the point of her even building tank, I felt bad. Bcuz she was literally useless other than her cc. The things I thought were stupid that game were: how she was super tanky and dealt a ton of dmg? How about she deal moderate or lower damage and be tanky throughout the entire game? Late game she melted anyways. Her damage fell off yeah but she shouldnt have had so much in the first place. But my main point is the fact that she was useless as a tank lol.

Please gimme your thoughts. I am legit curious.

Miss OG Karma shield bomb. I'm talking about season 3 shield bomb. Want all the champions on Reav3's Tier 1 VGU list already changed and done, plus rework Janna so Iron Janna players don't make it to Diamond since a baboon could play Janna to Diamond.

I miss old Kindred back when item 3142 had attack speed and bork healed you it has so fun to just melt tanks when you had 15 stacks also the funny thing old kindred actually works better with the new runes and new kindred would work better with the old runes.

How is this different from how it is now? Back then you also had a primary tree with keystone and a secondary tree like it is now? How was it more flexible then? Adc were stuch with fervor or the old healing keystone and dmg tree. Tanks with the defense tree. If u didn't pick the dmg tree first on adc or bruisers u were also trolling then or the old aftershock rune for tanks. Assassins had to go thunderlords. If u picked fervor zed or the defense tree first u trolled.

The only thing different was that you could choose to go one row for each secondary mastery points, that's true. I wouldn't mind them to change that so that you could pick 1 secondary rune from inspiration and another from domination for example and make it a bit more open for different combinations.
