Riot, Old Soraka, + more

Lets start this off positive:

Riot, since the announcement of the game mode rotation, would it be possible to include a legacy mode? This would feature the temporary comeback of pre-reworked champions. Like Soraka with old starcall and mana refill or pre-rework Sion.

Soraka:

Before Soraka's most recent big rework, she was by far my favorite champion in the game. Being able to refill mana, the heal was a lot of fun despite it's gigantic cooldown, and my all time favorite ability in the game which is Soraka's old starcall. At the time she was not favorable to play as a support but it was very possible to go on long win streaks with that pick with the right build.

Would it be possible to at least bring back old starcall and just reduce the numbers? Maybe just reduce the MR shred if you feel it was too much or reduce the damage dealt. I want my old starcall back :(. I wouldn't mind having the old heal back either. A big heal with a long cooldown that doesn't cost health does not seem that OP to me. Her E is where a lot of her super strength came from. Being able to point and click silence people at no mana cost or refill mana on your teammate at no mana cost to yourself. You did later address that though by continuously increasing the mana cost on that ability until most people saw her as unplayable in the support role.

Seeing all of the wild and crazy Soraka changes to her current kit is just driving me mad. Just bring back parts of her old kit please. I beg of you.

Maybe there could be a cool in game effect when Soraka Starcalls when an Aurelion Sol is in the game? It would do something to add some charm back to Soraka. I miss the old Soraka too which makes me very sad that RIOT failed to balance her kit to their satisfaction. I mean Soraka went through many, many adjustments but I always liked her even when she was nerfed too hard. The new kit just hasn't been the same regardless of buffs or nerfs. Of course, in Patch 6.5, they are making some adjustments to Soraka that I'll have to try out. I'm always willing to give RIOT a chance to make things better. And even though they aren't bringing back the superior and really cool visual effect of Soraka's old Starcall, the change might be an improvement on the new Soraka's game play. I guess I'll find out.

I also enjoyed her when she was potentially over nerfed. I still had great success in the support role when building her as a tank. I thought she was in a good state since she was no longer viable in a solo lane.

"The cool visual effect of starcall" was another thing that I loved so much about it. Especially when used with a particular skin. The thing I miss most about her though is being able to skirmish with your team while healing allies and shredding MR on your enemies. Now you kind of have to stay on the backline and hope your team performs well while you heal the poop out of everyone.

I don't have a lot of faith that the 6.5 Soraka will be any better because I personally don't like her kit that much. That is just a personal preference of mine though. I won't deny that current Soraka is strong but it feels like my favorite champion in the game is gone and there is no way for me to be able to play her ever again :(
