Assassin mobility hypocrisies/Katarina QoL Change

I always wondered why Katarina got her ability to ward hop gutted during her rework but Lee Sin (the biggest offender of wardhop abuse btw) gets to keep his ward hopping? It doesn't make sense. It just shows Riot loves playing favorites especially towards their biggest LC$ playmaker Lee Sin. This was the reasoning they gave on why they removed it:

It’s not a decision that was taken lightly, but a large part of Kat’s update is centered around telegraphing her potential mobility to assailants. Ward-hopping breaks this at a fundamental level - giving her far too many easy outs in tense situations. Kat’s all about finding the right mix of premeditation and reaction in her playmaking, so you’ll have to think on your feet and use all of your tools to survive."

Okay so with that being said shouldn't Lee Sin get his W tweaked as well? Also, If assassins are about mobility and not burst damage why did you take it out when we have Kayn who can literally phase through walls, Talon who can hop over walls, LB who can dash over walls, Zed who can teleport over walls with shadow, Jax who can also ward hop over walls. So why not just say "fuck it" and just give her the ability to ward hop again? It's only fair.
