How do people get hype for this esports scene?

Except for that one year when ssg won, it's been the SKT drones every year. Yeah, you get interesting an close games but that's all it ever is. First LZ was supposed to beat SKT, they lost. MSF almost beat them but lost. Now we can only hope SSG takes them out. Until they lose, I'll just assume SKT will win every year. How long until players get sick and tired of the same teams winning? How did Korea get so dominant in this game? Why can't other teams beat them? I wanna get hype and enjoy but I just can't. Everything is in vain.

Skt lready lost once at MSI, they got challenged really hard today, and Rift Rivals went to china as well. They are clear favorites, but it's only a matter of time until they fall on worlds.

I think that people like you are just salty cause SKT won... You got a tough series, over 5 games, that was extremly close. Also, in this series you saw the entire previous worlds meta toppled- and SKT forced to adapt the style of MSF in order to win by the skin of their teeth.

If that's not what you want to watch, then i dont think you are the kind of person that's considered a potential viewer/customer of the esporst scene.

Throughout all sports there are dominate teams and/or athletes. In the end hype depends on what you look for. I care about the journey of he tourney not really who wins in the end. I also like watching high quality games, which this worlds is giving. I cannot wait to see if RNG or SSG can take out SKT, or if SKT will learn from the quarters and become a monster.

This year is way more exciting than previous years in terms of who can claim the title. If Misfits have shown anything it's that the Koreans are no longer God tier. They're still tier 1, definitely, but they can be defeated. Misfits, a team of 5 rookies at worlds nearly beating the 3x reigning champions. If they can do it, RNG can too. I predicted SKT to win it all because that was the most likely bet, but right now, I think RNG is favourited against SKT. They took down SSG twice, they can take down SKT. If RNG wins, I lose my chance to get the 34 points poro icon but it would be worth it. But hey, if FNC beats them, that would be even more amazing! haha. Then there's C9 つ◕_◕ ༽つ

I keep telling you guys year after year after year. Never count the champ out until the count of 10.
Oh SKT is vulnerable. Hype hype hype. Oh this is EU's year, hype hype hype. The Koreans are down, hype hype. China looks awesome hype hype.

But..... Don't. Don't Don't. Don't believe the hype.

But they lost xyz. hype hype.

Nope. Don't Don't. Don't believe the hype.

Down 2-0 or 2-1. Doesn't matter. Don't believe they're out until that third game is won against em and they're out.

A lot of people groan when they see playoff brackets in lots of sports and there is the champ early. But I liked it. It was better to get the champ early and sneak up on em than it was to get em late when the prize is in clear view.

Why are people so salty that SKT won? Because they managed to beat them in a 3outof5 game? Misfits fucking put up a good fight, but what? is SKT supposed to just drop the game and give it to Misfits. I don't understand what the fuck y'all want sometimes. NExt time they need to be a little stronger to beat SKT???? I don't know what the OP wants people to say here. It was interesting seeing Misfits almost beat the crap out of SKT and I LOVE SKT. Because they're EU, it's not even a Korean team going head to head right then. I'm looking forward to all the games, and while I want SKT to win worlds, I'm more than happy to say hello to a new worlds champ.

Riot keeping challenger div regional is killing the esport for this game.

Until they lose, I'll just assume SKT will win every year.

Well actually that is how tournaments work

The big Upset. LZ 0-3, this Worlds is not as predictable as it seems. Hype wise, people just like watching the considered "best" to play. C9 possible upset for WE? who knows anymore....

I've been through a same player winning tournament after tournament month after month in like two or three other games. I guess I've just built enough of a tolerance to good players or teams (in rarer cases) remaining as such.
