What are your thoughts on the new shen now that hes been out a while? I personally am not a fan of him. His vorpal blade was a big reason why i loved the old way. Now you basicaly have to use all of you ability in order for a trade to even go even. His damage is really low even for a tank. The spirit sword is a neat idea? And if they switched it around a bit it would be awesome. Like make it have the effect , but you throw it like an olaf axe and it does damage.
Catastrop2 votesI've completely lost touch with him. The rework was great and I enjoyed it for a while, but over time I completely lost all affinity for him. Loss of Vorpal Blade is actually a big reason why too, I really liked this skill. Great sustain, ranged poke and decent damage was awesome.

OurLestrade1 votesHe's one of the better reworks, but he's still iffy. Like most of them they've taken the reasons people pick them (Poke, safety, reliability, strong burst) and completely spun them around (No poke, risky, unreliable, sustained damage only). Taken me a lot of games to get a feel for him and his absurd energy costs, as well as 12k of IP to invest into a page that makes him feel less clunky.
Oh, and they REALLY need to work on the hitboxes on his Q and E, especially since if you don't land them you're completely screwed with the latest changes. The amount of times I've pulled the Q through people and not gotten empowered hits, or E'd through someone yet still missed...

well being one of the squishest tanks in the game he does have dueling / split push like his oldself was still so imo he is alright
