Learning New Champs

I guess this is a question/rant. How are you supposed to learn a harder skill champ with the attitude players bring? If you don’t play a champ perfectly in norms people get so bent out of shape. I am trying to learn Draven and he takes a little more concentration than other adc’s. I knew people would complain a little if I missed an axe or what not so I muted them. But then I have people spam pinging “?” all the time. Would you guys recommend just silencing everyone (chat/pings)? I think I can ignore it but I think I need some time first in Draven first.
