I feel kind of bad that some of the older tanks like malphite didn't get any serious love for the tank patch and I thought I would make a discussion on what we want to from a Malphite rework, or maybe reasons why he doesn't need one. Please below give your thoughts, maybe your own ideas or comments on mine. I don't have really anything down right now, but I'll be editing and adding to it over the next few days.
Malphite 
Concept: I feel like something like a Titan from AOT would be interesting, and give him abilities that represent that.
Passive: NEW - Granite Shield: Malphite Armor is increased by a percentage amount, (10-40% based on level), when ever malphite takes 10% of his maximum health in damage within 3 seconds, he gains Brutal Strikes and gaining bonus movement speed for 6 seconds (based on level).
- Brutal Strikes: Malphite's basic attacks deal bonus physical damage (15 - 75 (+ 10-40% armor) based on level), which splashes to enemies around his target.
- BONUS MOVEMENT SPEED: 15 - 25% based on level.
- COOLDOWN: 12 - 6 seconds based on level.
Q: NEW - Seismic Shard: Malphite sends a rock rolling forward (NOW A SKILLSHOT), dealing magic damage to all enemies and the first champion hit (50 - 100% damage based on distance traveled, max damage at 625). Non-champions take (25-50% damage based on distance traveled, max damage at 625) and are knocked to the side. Champions hit are crippled for 3 seconds.
- MAX RANGE: 1250
- DAMAGE: 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 (+ 60% AP) magic damage.
- MOVEMENT AND ATTACK SPEED SLOW: 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50%
- MANA COST: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90
- COOLDOWN: 8 seconds.
W: NEW - Ground Slam:
- ACTIVE: Malphite slams the ground, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies and knocking them up for 1 second.
- DAMAGE: 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+ 20% AP) (+ 20% armor) magic damage.
- RANGE: 200
- MANA COST: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70
- COOLDOWN: 8 seconds.
- PASSIVE: Malphite gains a physical damage Shield (8-23% maximum health based on level) when not taking damage for 12 seconds.
E: NEW - Unstoppable Force: Malphite preps for 0.5 seconds, then dashes to the target location, becoming immune to crowd control effects for the duration and, upon impact, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies as well as knocking them back.
- DAMAGE: 40 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 (40% AP) (10% Malphite's maximum health)
- RANGE: 1000
- COOLDOWN: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 seconds.
- SPEED: 1835 (+ Bonus Movement Speed)
R: NEW - Might of the Monolith: Malphite realises shockwaves while doubling in size, increases his maximum health by 40%, gains Brutal Strikes, and is also self-slowed by 20% for 6 / 8 / 10 seconds. Shockwaves realised deals 20 / 30 / 40 (+15% AP) magic damage per second to all near by champions in AOE for the duration.
- AOE RANGE: 300 (increased based on Malphite's size)
- MANA COST: 125
- COOLDOWN: 130 / 115 / 100 seconds.
