Irelia's new passive could be inspiration for an Ohmwrecker rework

Irelia's new passive does bonus damage to shields under certain conditions. What if Ohmwrecker did something similar?

Passive: Hitting an enemy champion with crowd control causes their shields to take 200% damage

or

Aura (around Abyssal Mask's range): Nearby enemy champion shields take 200% damage
