Why is cho so op?

I used to ban cho every single game so I could avoid playing against him but now that there are so many op champs and only 3 bans... ya know.

But anyways, He has a huge aoe knockup and slow, he has a huge aoe long duration silence, he has true damage that scales off ap, and he has build in tankiness and sustain.

The only thing he doesnt have is mobility which his long range knockup/slow makes up for. Not to mention he has no hard counters and the only counter play is to just sit under turret and try not to give him the chance to dive you since you can't poke him effectively due to his passive.

Why hasn't riot nerfed him already?

chogath counters: Amumu , Riven , DrMundo , Gnar (not sure about him), Morgana (chogath's entire kit except his ult and auto attack consists of magic damage and she can nullify his crowd control, but don't use her in lane against him), Maokai (he loves casters and can out-tank chogath), Aatrox , Vladimir

chogath is decent at everything, but his primary weakness is anyone who can stay in his range comfortably

champions that wreck cho for me... lol so much Gnar (hops out of the q) Zed (honestly i don't know why... when you get 20 kills against the enemy Cho) Azir (easy poke) and more... (that zed thing i got like 600AD so that's probably why lol)

His Q is so vital to his combos and it's one of the hardest things to pull off in the game because of that damned delay. Imagine trying to land it against someone that's mobile....
