I'm so tired of this community, my support last game said the whole champ select that they were going to throw the game and feed. And then lets the other adc attack them to 1/4th health as soon as the minions got to lane which eventually ended up in other adc getting first blood. Then became toxic to me and i got reported by two people on my team, one was the support for "verbal abuse" cause he said i was being toxic even though i wasn't and then my mid was toxic also and reported me for unskilled

I cant take this community anymore, riot seriously needs to do something major to fix this, not a ban wave they need to disable chat or something, this is ridiculous.

Riot certainly cannot be blamed for the player base that they have attracted, which I can safely say is everybody that plays games just about. However, Riot has taken several steps to help this issue. Their reporting feature is precise and fast, they constantly encourage making friends that you play your games with to minimize new people exposure, and they reward good behavior.

If playing with friends is not something you find enjoyable for whatever reason, there is certainly a mute button than can be found by pressing tab. I understand this is not effective because communication is important, but if you resort to muting someone, communication probably wasn't benefiting you to begin with.

Another reason people tend to be toxic is actually because they are reacting to what other people say. If a support accidently gives first blood, some people will point out what the support did wrong, which can sometimes be taken as a snappy comment or a rude statement, even if that isn't the case. Generally, if you sound positive and give no reason for them to get defensive, then most players aren't toxic. Sometimes the instigator doesn't know their instigating.

I hope that helps!
