Swain has always been a bit too strong in pubs, because unless you have consistent reliable 100-0 burst, you aren't killing him, and Zhonya's is core on him. Beating Swain requires focusing him till he Zhonyas, backing off so he doesn't heal too much, then killing him again. All that is always really hard to get your entire team to do in the middle of a hectic teamfight.
If you spend enough time learning a single champion you can do just about anything you want, so long as they don't ban you out.
People don't buy QSS against him anymore (which cleanses 75% of his damage) so freelo!
swain is freelo like syndra
Has a lot to due with how win rates by themselves aren't a meaningful statistic.
