Ok so recently I switched my smurf from NA to lan and omfg my ping went from 120-130 and now I get 60 that's a big difference and I really want to switch my main but it's all in Spanish and I cant understand anything so I think riot should either make a NA east server or make it to where you CAN have it in English do you think changing my main is a good idea??

I for one was very happy when they created LAN as when I was a beginner we had a lot of language barriers and when you're learning League that's a killer. Learning Spanish is never a bad idea, it's a good utility language in the US. I think Riot making an East Coast Server and splitting the NA services into East and West would be a positive as it'll lower the overhead on West Coast servers. The only drawback is you Divide the community.

Yeah, Riot's going to force people on a Latin American server to speak English. lol

Anyway, just move your main over. Most chat in this game is just toxic shit anyway, so the ping difference is worth it.

Where do you live/what's your internet?

Cause I'm smack dab in the middle of VA with Verizon and I get 15-25 to LAN, 105-120 to NA.

Only played a couple matches on it. The difference is way, way too drastic to play on NA if I got used to LAN's ping.

To put it in perspective, when I started playing LoL in S2, I had 55-60 ping. I don't want an East Coast Server, I just wished Riot would actually move their HOME REGION'S SERVERS AWAY FROM A HORRIBLE SECTION OF INTERNET INFRASTRUCTURE TO SOMEWHERE MORE CENTRAL AND OPTIMIZED.

LAN is in Miami. So that's probably why.
