Cannot Reroll Champ Shards Anymore

What's up with this? Why can't I reroll champ shards anymore. I have an acc that I want to get to 30 fast and buying champs with the BE is honestly just a pain in the butt.

Because you gain shards fairly easy now with leveling and they don't want people gaining 100% free champs anymore.

That is the point of this new system - they want people to be able to grow their champ pool faster. Also, 10-15 games for a level to gain random shards is kind of... well, dumb. Unless you're just casually playing and dont care what role you play this system seems flawed, since you only get cheaper champs using the shards you gain.

Right. So I just leveled to 31 and got a champion capsule. It contained 5 champion shards, 3x 450 and 2x 1350. I own all of those champions and I only play one of them once in a blue moon. Their disenchant value is laughable (810 BE for all of 'em) and they can't be rerolled either. I literally have absolutely no use of any of those shards whatsoever. I wish I could just delete them, honestly.

Are capsules deliberately made to give you trash champions? What's the point of them then? Does their quality scale with level?

Also, some days ago I used all of my BE to buy 7 Mystery Champions. I didn't have 4x 4800 champs (which I hate and never ever play) and around 15x 6300 champs. I opened the 7 mystery champions and received ALL 4 of the 4800 champs. How? Why? What the F?

It’s random but they want to have around the same BE value for each capsule, so if you roll a low tier shard then it gives you a few extra low tier shards that will end up giving you almost as much value as a big shard.

If you rolled a big shard then you would have only gained that one shard.

I'm currently 37lvl, which means 7 capsules opened so far. Their value is absolutely random. I got one big shard at 32lvl, I think. Most of the time it's just complete trash, worth around 500 BE in total. My latest capsule gave me Karma, Poppy, and 80 or 90 BE. That's around 900 BE. One level up for 900 BE... Really?

No matter how I look at it, I get vastly less BE now than I got IP before. You wanted to make the new system better for older players and instead you made it many times worse.

You're not even paying attention to what you're getting and then declaring that it's garbage. You're telling me the values you're getting are way less than the minimum possible value from level-up capsules.

The only accurate number is "One level up for 900 BE," which is a pretty solid amount of BE for the amount of play time it takes to level.

It is not random, the value you get is chosen by Rito for every level and the same for everyone. They said that it is overall 20% cheaper to aquire champs with that system. But I guess only if you don't have some of the cheap champions too.

20% cheaper isn't free which was the point of a reroll. I think its stupid they removed this for people that don't own every champ. I know there are tons of players that do and honestly at that point there should be a separate system. The game isn't on its up swing anymore, Riot is milking what they can.

I own every champ and I think its stupid. I can no longer reroll when a new champ comes out to get it... also - the mastery 6 and 7 costs are far more laughable. We are barely getting more BE (gotta get 10 levels to even achieve this) with this new system if you disenchant every shard you get from a capsule. 500-700 BE to almost 4k BE for a mastery??? They stated on average you're getting 2k more with this new system after 10 levels, why is this increased so much? :Thinking:
