Teamfighting Help

I'm currently a Silver 4 player (i know I'm garbage) but I am a Warwick/Jhin main and I usually get ahead in lane but I usually lose in the late game. At first, I blamed my team mates but watching my replays over, I realize that I'm terrible during teamfights which greatly impacts the game and I think I need tips when teamfighting especially as an ADC and my main questions are.

  1. As an ADC if you cannot reach your opposing ADC's or enemy squishes do you usually target tanks?
  2. As Warwick, I feel as if teamfighting greatly depends on Warwick's ultimate so should I go around the team and try to ult the enemy carry or should I stay by my carries and peel? I know that Warwick as a jungler is not the best teamfighter out there so I'm going to try learning better champions such as Rammus and Jarvan IV but right now Warwick is my strongest champion and I don't really want to learn anyone new. Just tips on teamfights would be great. Thanks

  1. Never take damage to give damage, if you can't reach a squishy then do damage to a tank or whatever is in safe range. This is why it is important to build correctly. I see a lot of ADCs get massively ahead but instead of building to kill tanks for mid/late they keep building until they can 2 shot the enemy squishies. Most people get LW WAY too late in the game so they end up losing team fights that would have been won if they got it earlier and were able to do damage to the only targets that are in safe range.

  2. It depends. If your team has no peel and your carry is in a position item-wise to carry a fight then you should be peeling for him. If your ADC is not in a position to carry a team fight but the enemy carry is then just pop the enemy carry. If neither are in a position to carry the fight then do what makes the most sense for the situation. There is no "Always do this and you will win team fights." Team fights are very situational. Being able to change how team fighting style based on what is going on in the game is what impacts how easily you climb. ( As long as you are up to par in the other stats, if you are levels / gold behind then it won't really matter how good you are in team fights because you will not have a huge impact any way. )

Jhin shouldnt be a default adc, if you have no other adc's you're good with, I would not que for the role. Jhins good if the enemy team has more squish than front liners to worry about and will be nearly an auto lose pick in alot of the teamcomps u see in this meta with sej and rammus comps.

As warwick you either wanna pick someone with your ult in the late game, or hang back and use it defensively based on the situation. If you see one of the teams carries pop up on the map away from their team and you have follow up behind you, go in. If a fight starts without you, you'll usually want to target whoever their most impactful member is for the fight or whoever is going for your hypercarry if you've a comp based around protecting something like a twitch/kogmaw.
