So I was wondering what would happen if you were silver in flex or treeline and had the silver border around your name and decided to play rift or twisted treeline. Would the border still be there because you were silver in flex or twisted treeline?

Mysticman892 votesWhat border from the previous season is used depends on what queue you're in. For most unranked queues, it takes the best applicable border across the various ranked modes.

Mysticman892 votesWell, your current ranks in flex and solo/duo don't matter, as your border(s) are from the previous season. Technically this seasons rewards haven't been announced yet, but it'll probably be pretty similar to whats' below for how border work this season based on your ranks from last season.
