Riven isn't even patched next patch.

Yes, I know Teemo's bugs are "gamebreaking," but isn't CC canceling also busted as hell?

It feels like Riot takes any chance to disable Teemo.

You mean that CC cancel that ANYONE with a dash can do and is incredibly hard to do on Riven? Not to mention risky because you're giving up 2 of your dashes. But please, keep up the Riven QQ threads, since the boards need one champ per month to complain about despite nothing changing.

I don' t understand what you are trying to argue. Riven has 4 dashes. Vayne has one. Both have very low cooldowns.

3 of Riven's are on one key, meaning you have to use the first 2 to get the hop. So if you're using the hop alone, it means you skipped the first 2.

With only five exceptions (Elise Elise's Venomous Bite.png Venomous Bite,** the first two casts of Riven Riven's Broken Wings.png Broken Wings**, Riven Riven's Valor.png Valor and Vayne Vayne's Tumble.png Tumble), dashes can be used to pass through otherwise impassable terrain.

The teemo bug literally happened automatically (you just walk into a bush and get invis even while combat), while the riven one any champion with a dash can do and its insanely hard to do it consistently, the fact is if adrian didnt post on reddit about it nobody would even know it right now as its something pretty rare and only ppl in challenger can do it consistently (basically you'll never see it in your games).

If you cant see the difference of impact btw both then you are quite blind.

A lot of champions have been disabled before for bugs that aren't automatically triggered.

It's the same case with most bugs. There are a fk ton of bugs that don't receive attention until they get upvoted to front page

Riven is toxicly designed though, shes only good because she thrives off the bugs in her kit, which in turn makes alot of people salty about her, imo they just need to rebuild her from the ground up and prevent any form of animation cancelling as animations on abilites are supposed to gate a champions power, could you image if darius could animation cancel his q?

Which bugs? Rivens animation canceling is intended. When they made her they wanted a street fighter inspired champion. Sf is a beat em up wiehre really skilled players can animation cancel and pull off combos because of that.

i woud love how to learn to instant cast my q on darius, should show me how, animation canceling shouldnt be in the game regardless, animations are supposed to gate the power of champions

They can't ani-cancel. The closest they have is slightly cutting off the ending of some of their animations by buffering another one. Riven has fighting game ani-cancels where she can do one move and transition into another almost immediately, which those champs can't do.

Sheik in Smash 4 can be in the middle of a sprint, briefly let go of her directional input to charge her neutral special and then immediately cancel that to basically be able to do any move besides her dash attack out of a dash, increasing her combat mobility and control immensely, among other things. Riven has those kinds of ani-cancels, where she can use the animation of one attack to seamlessly interrupt her current animation and lead into her next attack to increase her overall speed immensely (assuming you have the skill to pull it off). Ezreal, Veigar, Darius, Renekton, etc., they cannot do that.

I would take any chance to disable teemo, but I would first disable riven, delete yasou and vayne, rework a bunch of champs, and like 20 other things first. Riot's priorities are so backwards.
