Flare blitz never got priority. Gale Wings was a pretty overpowered ability anyways. However, in the change's defense, Talonflame was complete cancer in VGC.

"Blood moon: The phenomenon whereby the moon in total eclipse appears reddish in color as it is illuminated by sunlight filtered and refracted by the earth's atmosphere." Which basically means Ao Shin should get one, ASAP.

It's a celebratory event, I'd imagine, to recognize this celestial event. Which I can only guess doesn't happen all that often. I don't know when the next time this occurs is, but I'd say it's fairly soon(™), judging by the skin release facts.

Is this a case of "We remove the previously written 3 pages of entertaining read, and replace them with 2 sentences - no one is going to notice the changes to the lore"?

Also:

Penumbral lunar eclipses will occur on March 23, 2016, September 16, 2016, and February 11, 2017. Penumbral eclipses are more difficult to observe because only part of the moon is eclipsed.

"February 11, 2017"...coincidence? Allthough not a complete eclipse, thus no real "blood moon", I think the game and IRL events are related anyway.

Also, I have had the new Blood Moon skins estimated to be made available at around February 10 - I'd say that guess was rather spot-on.

Can't wait for 2033 now - the next occurance of a super blood moon. Which champs will get Blood Moon skins then btw? Any known plans?

We already got Wicked Lulu, so Bewitching/Little Devil Lulu is likely not something we'll ever see, but I do strongly lean towards something akin to a Kokiri (such as Saria with her fairy).

I could easily be persuaded to accept a less complex Pix in favour of a ton of SFX, particles and various movements (flies around Lulu in an upward spiral when using a healing potion etc. - have to stand still to do all of it, same as similar effects on other skins/champions). http://orig08.deviantart.net/5917/f/2011/348/d/8/hey_listen_by_createvi-d3e723h.png

And when respawning, he flies around Lulu rampantly, sizzling furiously while Lulu does some apologetic talking (similar to the DT Tristana/Riggle interaction), and changes colour based on mood/situation.

As far as Pix complexity is concerned, DT Lulu is still the best - he even got some unique SFX there, as well as animations. Only missing a recall animation. :'(
