Cho'Gath secretly got a nerf
So with the minions getting greater health 
can no longer 1 shot canon minions with feast...

That is not a big of a nerf it's not like the enemy can keep you away from your minion wave you just have too much sustain for them to bully you away from your cannon minion. Also, I've been feasting on full health cannon minions just fine? Maybe your game was going on for too long because I do believe they gain health over time.
he needs buffs
Uuumm, Cho'Gath still can early game if I am not mistaken. Late game, he never could passed around 35 minutes.
Should've said Talon got a nerf then
Talon with B.F. Sword and a brutalizer can't kill ranged minions in one rake.
